National identity is the core of patriotism,and plays an important role in the sustainable and stable development of a country.College students are the reserve army for the development of the motherland.The national recognition and training is not only related to their own quality,but also affects the big problem of whether they can become the builders of a modern socialist country.Entering the new era,China’s national identity education has also followed the pulse of The Times and entered the new era.The national recognition of college students in the new era affects China’s competitiveness in the international community to a certain extent.Therefore,in the construction of a strong modern socialist country,we must strengthen the national identity education of college students.The paper is mainly composed of three parts.The first part,an overview of national identity education for college students in the new era.On the basis of defining the relevant concept of national identity education in the new era,the paper analyzes the content of national identity education and explains its significance.The second part,the current analysis of national identity education for college students in the new era.First of all,the paper summarizes the three achievements of national recognition education in the new era:universities have further implemented relevant requirements,made beneficial exploration in educational and teaching activities,and college students’ awareness of national recognition is gradually enhanced.Secondly,on the basis of the questionnaire analysis,the paper puts forward four problems existing in national identity education in the new era,such as the content needs to be enriched,the narrative method needs to be improved,the subject consciousness needs to be improved,and the environmental atmosphere needs to be improved.Finally,the paper analyzes the problems existing in national identity education for college students in the new era,and points out that the reasons for the existing problems are the impact of economic globalization,the single traditional education mode,the dissemination and induction of wrong ideas,and the weak joint force of education environment.The third part,strengthen the path of national identity education in the new era.On the basis of clarifying the causes of the problem,the specific path to solve the problem is put forward: enrich the content of national identity education,improve the national identity education method,enhance the identification of national identity education consciousness,and optimize the national identity education environment.
