| COVID-19 has been lasted for more than two years all over the world, exerting a huge impact on human health and the normal operation of society, and it is imperative to resolve the COVID-19 pandemic and get out of the current situation.Lack of effective treatments and prevention methods, fortifying the immune system of the public through the injection of COVID-19 vaccine is currently one of the most effective methods to prevent and controll the novel coronavirus pandemic, however, studies have shown that part of the public became hesitated and ambiguous towards vaccination. In order to improve the vaccination rate of COVID-19 and improve the awareness of vaccine hesitation, this paper will analyze the influencing factors of COVID-19 vaccine hesitation of college students, formulate the response measures for the hesitation of COVID-19 vaccine, and improve the vaccination rate of COVID-19 with taking the college student group as an example so as to understand the current situation of COVID-19 vaccine hesitation of college students. This study uses the octopus crawler software to crawl the weibo hotspot topics whose themes are "vaccine hesitation",this paper analyze and classify the obtained data, and finally draw the two key elements affecting vaccine hesitation including government trust and risk perception, and construct the theoretical model of this paper.According to the existing mature scale questionnaire which divides government trust into three dimensions: ability trust, benevolence trust, and integrity trust;while divides the risk perception into emotional risk perception and cognitive risk perception with emphasis on the role of emotion in this vaccination.Adjusting the questionnaire items after the pre-survey and distributing nationwide using the snowball method,807 valid questionnaires were finally obtained. After the questionnaire collection data was quality processed, the data was verified and analyzed using AMOS23.0 and SPSS22.0.The study finds that the demographic variables of college students have no effect on their willingness to vaccinate against COVID-19;there is a significant negative effect on government trust in vaccine hesitation, and the higher the level of public trust in the government, the less hesitant they are when vaccinated;risk perception has a significant positive impact on vaccine hesitation, that is,the higher the public’s risk perception, the higher the degree of hesitation in receiving COVID-19 vaccine. Moreover, risk perception plays a clear intermediary role between government trust and vaccine hesitation. It proves that the public’s trust in the government plays a role that cannot be ignored in the risks caused by the new crown vaccination, and government trust is still an important standard for the public to perceive risks and make judgments in the context of the health risk of Chinese society. However,it is essential to improve government trust and take measures to decrease the risk perception of the public so that the majority accept the risk of COVID-19 vaccine, willing to continue to be vaccinated or even recommend the COVID-19 vaccine to others. This paper puts forward a few proposals from three aspects based on both the government trust and risk perception as follows: firstly, government should play its dominant role achieving thorough supervision and regulation;secondly, various social medias should be fully utilized to convey information, which can decrease risk perception of the public;thirdly, healthcare workers should be attached importance to train of professional knowledge so as to increase confidence in vaccine comprehensively;fourthly, vaccinees should be established scientific cognition and cultivated correct awareness. |
