Research On The Path Of Embedding Socialist Core Values Into Urban Community Constructio

The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasized that the core socialist values are a powerful force that unites the hearts and minds of the people and gathers the people’s strength,and it is necessary to integrate the core socialist values into the construction of the rule of law,into social development,and into daily life.Core values should be widely accepted by the public,so as to be transformed into everyone’s internal moral requirements and external conscious actions,and it is more necessary to explore the "focus and main field" of value cultivation from the practical level.The rise of "community-building" undoubtedly provides a clear guide to this demand.Compared with the top-down "indoctrination" education method used in the past to promote the core socialist values in the community,community building should be deeply rooted in the hearts of community residents through a bottom-up and inside-out approach such as space building,relationship building and action building,creating a sense of community and enabling residents to form a common value orientation.The cultivation and practice of socialist core values will be regarded as the "navigator" for community construction and development,as the "regulator" for community members’ value pursuit and behavior habits,and as a "lubricant" for regulating the relationship between community organizations and community residents,so as to condense community value consensus.As an emerging practice of the current community governance model,the author summarizes the sporadic and fragmented experience of communities in the specific exploration process in recent years,and theoretically sorts out and constructs why socialist core values can be embedded in urban community building and how to embed them in urban community building from the following four aspects: First,the theoretical logic,historical logic and practical logic of embedding socialist core values in community building are explained.Sort out the inevitability of the sinking of socialist core values into the community and the chimerism of community building,and analyze the problems existing in the current embedding of socialist core values in grassroots community governance;Second,this paper focuses on the practical experience of embedding socialist core values into community public space from the perspective of space creation,and constructs theories from three aspects: the scene-based presentation of socialist core values,the manifestation of socialist core values by neighborhood layout in community space,and the activation of community historical and cultural memory under the guidance of socialist core values.Third,from the perspective of relationship building,the paper focuses on the specific measures of embedding socialist core values in the multisubject relationship of the community,and considers it from three aspects: the relationship between the party and the masses,the relationship between neighbors,and the relationship between politics and society.Fourth,this paper focuses on the specific path of embedding socialist core values into the common actions of community residents from the perspective of action building,and further sorts out and explores the practical experience of integrating socialist core values into community safety actions,socialist core values promoting community cultural activities,and socialist core values leading community residents’ autonomy.It is found that the primary task of community creation is to promote the transition from mechanical solidarity based on geography to organic solidarity,and to realize the reconstruction of lifestyles,life forms,and life values,i.e.,to build a living community.In community spatial planning,it is necessary to present the community’s shared culture and common memory through scenes,so as to promote the harmony of neighborhood interaction and interpersonal relationships,and enable community residents to form interaction in space;reciprocity and mutual benefit in relationships;and mutual recognition in actions.Therefore,it can be learned that cultivating and practicing socialist core values and community creation are mutually necessary.On the one hand,the cultivation and practice of socialist core values can only better play an embedded role in a group of people with common life,common space,common values and common interests like a community.On the other hand,for community creation,there is inevitably an input of values that transforms people’s actions into positive constructs,which in turn generate a sense of identity and belonging to the local culture.The purpose of community creation is to enable residents to form a common value orientation and establish a value community through the creation process.And this common value orientation is the socialist core values.
