Xi Jinping’s Important Statement On "Telling Chinese Story Well" And Its Ideological And Political Value Research

General Secretary Xi Jinping first put forward the assertion of "telling Chinese story well" at the National Propaganda and Thought Work Conference on August 19,2013.Since then,the General Secretary has made important speeches on the subjects of telling Chinese story well,content,expression and communication channels,and has combined them with the specific work practice that has been carried out,forming a series of important discourses with strict reasoning and rich connotations.For a long time,the Communist Party of China attaches great importance to the construction of discourse system.In the new era,Xi Jinping has put forward new requirements for the construction of ideological discourse system and made new guidance for the field of publicity and ideological and political education.As a micro-narrative,storytelling aims to describe the main content of the events that occurred.Compared with macro-narrative,storytelling focuses more on the highlighting of emotions and the description of details.Therefore,how to use storytelling to spread mainstream ideology in the new era,improve the relevance and effectiveness of ideological and political education,build a Chinese discourse system and spread a good Chinese voice is a historical mission that must be undertaken in the context of the era of cultural exchanges and exchanges,and is also a major issue facing ideological and political education in the new era.This study focuses on the important discourse on "telling Chinese stories well" made by Xi Jinping since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.Through carefully reading the content of the important discourse and deeply understanding its important speech,the spirit of the speech is made in order to comprehensively and systematically grasp the main content of the important discourse on "telling Chinese stories well" with the help of relevant theoretical basis.Focus on from the perspective of ideological and political education value of "telling good Chinese story" important study the integrity of and systematic,important discourse as important ideological and political education text resources,combined with the discourse narrative way,for the new era to carry out the ideological and political education work provides the value reference and practical guidance.This paper mainly consists of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part of Chapter 1 mainly includes the research origin,literature review,relevant concept definition,research framework,innovation points and shortcomings.Chapter 2 is study of the background and evolution of Xi Jinping’s important statement on "telling the Chinese story".From the perspective of the international and domestic backgrounds,from the height of the unprecedented changes in the world and the strategic overall situation of achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,there are both opportunities and challenges in the prevention of ideological risks,and the Communist Party of China leads the Chinese people to "tell the Chinese story well".From the perspective of personal factors,the experience and influence of Xi Jinping’s personal upbringing have also cultivated the soil and provided the practical foundation for the formation and development of the important thesis.Finally,the overall characteristics of the development and evolution of the important discourse on "telling the Chinese story" from its presentation to further elaboration are analyzed.Chapter 3 provides the objectives and tasks of Xi Jinping’s "Telling Chinese story well,spreading Chinese voice well",and gathering Chinese power to enhance international discourse and showcase a good Chinese image.Chapter 4 provides the material resources for Xi Jinping’s "Telling Chinses Story well".Telling the Chinese Story means telling the story of the Chinese Communist Party’s governance,the story of the Chinese people’s struggle to realize their dreams,and the story of China adherence to peaceful development and win-win cooperation.Chapter 5 is Xi Jinping’s approach to "telling the Chinese story".From the perspective of principles and attitudes,telling the Chinese story is an important way to do a good job of propaganda and ideological work,and should adhere to the principle of unity between the party and the people;from the perspective of methods and strategies,the combination of emotion and reasoning should be achieved,not only to tell facts and reasoning,but also to tell images and emotions;from the the responsibility and mission of broadening international communication;It is of great value to further develop and utilize the theoretical resources,emotional resources and talent resources contained in important discourses to enrich the material resources of ideological and political education;change the ideological and political education idea,develop the ideological and political education discourse,optimize the methods of ideological and political education,and innovate the practical path of ideological and political education.The innovation of this thesis is mainly reflected in two aspects: research perspective and research content.On the one hand,the research perspective focuses on the context of the times,from the perspective of the discourse narrative of ideological and political education to explore Xi Jinping’s important discourse on "telling a good Chinese story",and to understand ideological and political education from an ideological macroscopic perspective,arguing that storytelling is not only a simple description of phenomena,but also an ideological discourse presentation.On the other hand,in terms of research content,we fully explore the specific connotation of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on "telling a good Chinese story",and by analyzing the text of the important discourse,we divide the main contents into three parts: "Why tell Chinese story well" "What Chinese story" "How to tell Chinese story well" and from multiple dimensions mining important contains the ideological and political education value,to promote the new era of ideological and political work value orientation,further development and utilization of good quality ideological and political education resources,innovation,ideological education practice path has important guiding significance.
