| Good storytelling is the highlight of Xi's diplomatic work and a way to deal with international public opinion.Since the 18 th anniversary of the CPC,the rapid growth of China's economy has been accompanied by voices such as "China's hegemony" and "China's threat theory".Facing the severe international environment,"telling Chinese stories well and spreading Chinese voice well" has become a strategic measure to enhance China's image and enhance China's international discourse power.Every dog has his day,President Xi Jinping has repeatedly told Chinese stories,foreign stories and Chinese-foreign exchange stories on many diplomatic occasions to set an example for telling Chinese stories well in the new era.Based on collecting and sorting out the speeches,articles and speech texts of General Secretary Xi Jinping's diplomacy,this paper explores Xi Jinping's narrative art in the hope of enlightening him in telling Chinese stories well in the new era.In Xi Jinping's diplomatic narrative,"what to say","how to say" and "to whom" are the core of narrative and the key to telling Chinese stories well.This article first uses the horizontal expansion method to elaborate Xi Jinping's narrative content in the diplomatic exchanges;then on this basis to conduct in-depth exploration,further explores Xi Jinping's narrative method and art;finally,combines the current situation,summarizes Xi Jinping's diplomatic narrative experience,provides the method reference for telling Chinese stories well in the new period.Generally speaking,Xi Jinping's stories are rich and colorful in content,flexible and diverse in methods and vivid in language.He pays attention to cultural differences between different countries and people,and also pays attention to material selection in different occasions and times.At the same time,Xi Jin's approachable style of discourse and skilled narrative skills are of great significance for telling Chinese stories,disseminating Chinese voices and establishing a good image of China. |
