Research On The Performance And Problems Of Township Discipline Inspection And Supervision

Since the 18th CPC National Congress,disciplinary departments at all levels have been committed to fighting corruption and serving the people.To promote strict and comprehensive party administration at the grassroots level and consolidate the party’s ruling foundation,it is necessary to effectively carry out discipline inspections and supervision in suburban areas.The grassroots party organizations are guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to overcome poverty and promote rural revitalization and comprehensive party management.However,there are some significant issues in the performance of township discipline inspection and supervision organizations that need to be addressed through effective measures to improve their work quality in the new era.Therefore,it is crucial to study the present situation and problems to enhance the grassroots supervision system,improve grassroots governance abilities,and promote strict and comprehensive and party administration at the grassroots level.This thesis presents a literature review of township discipline inspection and supervision,defining key concepts such as township,discipline inspection and supervision,and grassroots supervision through various research methods such as investigation,case analysis,and interviews.The primary focus of the thesis is on a case study of X Town in Y District,providing a detailed analysis of the current situation of discipline inspection and supervision in the township,including staffing,hardware facilities,job responsibilities,and performance effectiveness.The study highlights violations of the spirit of the eight central regulations,nepotism,and other issues in X Town and its surrounding villages and towns,revealing existing problems such as a lack of ideological understanding,offside work tasks,inadequate supervision at the same level,weak and insufficient supervision,and lagging self-construction.The thesis identifies the system and mechanism of discipline inspection and supervision and the governmental environment in township as the root causes of these problems.In the concluding part of the thesis,the study suggests practical measures to strengthen ideological and political guidance and proposes reforms to the discipline inspection and supervision system to improve the quality and efficiency of supervision.Overall,the thesis combines the latest requirements of discipline inspection and supervision work in the new era with the case study of X Town in Y District to provide relevant suggestions and countermeasures for enhancing discipline inspection and supervision in townships.
