Research On Countermeasures To Improve The Injury Insurance Of Online Delivery Workers In My Countr

With the advent of the Internet era,the sharing economy is developing rapidly and is becoming a major force in supporting the healthy and rapid development of the national economy and creating more job opportunities.The number of online delivery workers continues to increase,and at the same time,the protection of their rights and interests is becoming more and more prominent,with the issue of work-related injury insurance being the most important.Due to the unique work content of online delivery workers,they face high risk of work-related injuries,however,the high occupational risk is not matched by the lack of work-related injury insurance to a large extent.In the long run,in addition to the lack of protection for the labor rights of online delivery workers,this will also affect the motivation of the new industry’s employees,which in turn will affect the healthy development of the sharing economy.Against the background that China attaches great importance to the development of sharing economy and the labor rights and interests of flexibly employed workers including online delivery workers,it is appropriate to focus on the work injury insurance of online delivery workers and gradually improve the status quo of their work injury insurance.This paper takes the equity theory and the government intervention theory as the theoretical guidance,takes the online delivery workers as the research object,uses the actual interview and research method,combines the current work injury insurance system and related legal regulations in China with the labor characteristics of online delivery workers in the sharing economy,and analyzes the obstacles and reasons for the participation of online delivery workers in work injury insurance in China.It is found that the obstacles to the participation of online delivery workers in work injury insurance in China are: first,the main body of contribution cannot be determined;second,the contribution base is difficult to be determined;third,there are obstacles to the recognition of work injury;fourth,it is difficult to carry out prevention of work injury.In-depth analysis,the reasons for the obstacles of participating in work injury insurance for online delivery workers in China are: firstly,the lag and lack of relevant laws and regulations;secondly,the defects of the trade union system;thirdly,the lack of responsibility of platform enterprises;fourthly,the lack of attention to work injury insurance by employees.According to the abovementioned obstacles and reasons,a comparative analysis of China’s workers’ injury insurance system,the flexible employment workers’ injury insurance pilot related to online delivery workers,and foreign related systems,a flexible employment workers’ injury insurance system that meets the labor characteristics of online delivery workers is constructed,the cooperation between governments is strengthened,the role of trade union organizations is given full play,platform enterprises should raise their awareness of responsibility,and online delivery workers should raise their attention to The study also proposes countermeasures to improve the work injury insurance for online delivery workers in China.This study aims to solve the problem of work injury insurance for online delivery workers in China,promote the renewal and improvement of China’s work injury insurance system in the new era,promote the healthy development of the sharing economy,and then realize the unity of economic development and social harmony.
