At present,the proportion of the elderly in the total population in China is increasing year by year,and the aging trend is further deepening.The significant improvement of economic level and the richness and diversity of material life make more and more elderly people join the ranks of tourism.The aging population also brings new opportunities for the development of "gray hair economy",and the elderly tourism market will become an important vertical segment of the tourism industry.However,at present,there is a shortage of travel products designed for the elderly in the market.Most of the products are for young users,and the design suitable for aging is insufficient.The elderly cannot enjoy the convenience brought by smart products for daily travel.Based on the development status of smart watches and the traveling status of the elderly,this paper combined the physiological characteristics,psychological characteristics and behavioral habits of the elderly,analyzed the application advantages and characteristics of smart watches in the traveling process of the elderly,and then,guided by the principle of user experience,analyzed the behavioral characteristics of the elderly in the traveling process and the current market pain points and insufficient development of smart wearable products.Explore and summarize the practical needs,design principles and design methods of smart watch design.On this basis,the research and design practice of smart watch applied to travel scene based on the user experience of the elderly group is completed.From the perspective of intelligent and interactive design,more care and care should be given to travel and tourism of the current elderly group,so as to better guide and encourage the elderly to travel,increase the happiness of contemporary elderly people and improve the quality of life.
