University students in southern Xinjiang are an important component of Chinese university students and an important new force in the development of the Xinjiang region.The effectiveness of ideological and political education for college students in southern Xinjiang is an important basis for measuring the ideological security of the southern Xinjiang region in China,and it is an important aspect that affects the overall security and development of the southern Xinjiang region and even Xinjiang.Since entering the new era,the Party and the state have attached great importance to the ideological and political work of college students,enabling them to fully utilize the effectiveness of ideological and political education.In recent years,the ideological and political education of college students in southern Xinjiang has achieved certain results,but in the journey of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,it is necessary to further enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education for college students in China.Therefore,universities in southern Xinjiang should also further improve the ideological and political effectiveness of their college students.This paper takes the effectiveness of ideological and political education among college students from five universities in southern Xinjiang as the research object.Through literature research,questionnaire surveys,and in-depth interviews,a questionnaire is designed to investigate nine aspects that affect the effectiveness of ideological and political education from both teachers and college students.By collecting data,analyze the current effectiveness of ideological and political education for college students in five universities in southern Xinjiang.The effectiveness of ideological and political education in the five universities in southern Xinjiang is mainly manifested in the firm ideals and beliefs of all teachers and students,and significant achievements in loving the Party,patriotism,and Xinjiang;There are various ways and methods of ideological and political education;The ideological and political education environment has its own characteristics,and the spirit of Populus euphratica has deeply rooted in people’s hearts.The use of ancient Chinese thinkers on moral and ethical education and its effectiveness.Marxist classic writers on the effectiveness of ideological and political education.The ideological theory of the Chinese Communist Party on ideological and political education and its effectiveness.General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourse on ideological and political education for college students as the theoretical basisy analyzing the effectiveness of ideological and political education in five colleges and universities in southern Xinjiang,it is concluded that there are some inefficient aspects of ideological and political education in colleges and universities in southern Xinjiang.Mainly,the ability level of some educators needs to be improved;Some educational objects have low recognition;The quality level of ideological and political classroom teaching in some universities needs to be improved;Some universities’ educational environment synergy has not yet formed;Some universities have weak external guarantee systems for education.Further analyze the reasons for these issues and conduct analysis.Research the path to further enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education from five aspects: educators,educational objects,educational content,educational environment,and external guarantee system of education.In order to explore the path of ideological and political education for college students in southern Xinjiang,further enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education,and promote the growth of college students in southern Xinjiang.
