The Party’s Ideological And Political Education Of Young Intellectuals During The Yan’an Period And Its Realistic Enlightenment

Young intellectuals have always been at the forefront of the times and are an important force in promoting national development and social progress.The CPC has always been very concerned about the growth of young intellectuals,and has always taken the ideological and political education of young intellectuals as an important work of the party.During the 13 years of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in Yan’an,facing the complicated domestic and international situations,in order to cope with the changes in the Revolutionary situation and expand the revolutionary ranks of the Party,the Party decided to carry out ideological and political education for young intellectuals.During the Yan’an period,the Party’s ideological and political education for young intellectuals has achieved remarkable results,not only helping young intellectuals to strengthen their revolutionary ideals and beliefs,but also transforming their position from the petty bourgeoisie to the proletariat,and consciously shouldering the historical mission of the proletariat,laying an important foundation for the victory of the New Democracy revolution.Faced with the unprecedented changes in the current century,we urgently need to deeply explore and summarize the successful experience of the Party’s ideological and political education for young intellectuals during the Yan’an period,in order to provide useful reference for the Party’s youth ideological and political education.First of all,it introduces the research background and significance of this topic,defines the two important concepts of the Yan’an period and young intellectuals,and expounds Marx and Engels’ youth education thought,the CPC’s youth view,and the CPC’s important discourse on youth ideological and political education on the basis of describing the research status of this topic at home and abroad.Secondly,it expounds the reasons why the CPC carried out ideological and political education for young intellectuals in the Yan’an period.Firstly,the basic situation of young intellectuals during the Yan’an period,including their main composition and ideological characteristics,is introduced.The necessity of ideological and political education for young intellectuals is analyzed from four aspects: responding to the Anti Japanese War and dealing with the struggle with the Kuomintang in different periods,strengthening the party’s own construction,and transforming young intellectuals.At the same time,through sorting out the CPC’s ideological and political education of young intellectuals in the Yan’an period,the contents and methods with distinctive features are summarized.And from the four aspects of the development of young intellectuals,the CPC,Marxism in China,and the victory of the revolution,this paper expounds the historical role of the Party’s ideological and political education of young intellectuals in Yan’an period.Finally,the basic experience of the Party’s ideological and political education for young intellectuals during the Yan’an period is summarized as adhering to Marxist theory as guidance,serving the Party’s central work,combining with the workers and peasants,and building a high-quality ideological and political education workforce.And draw practical inspiration for ideological and political education of college students from four aspects: grasping the pulse of the times,innovating methods,targeting young people,and integrating theory with practice.
