Research On The Theory Of Socialist Development Stage Of The Communist Party Of China

The theory of socialist stages of development is an important element of scientific socialism,which mainly studies the problem of the stages of development of socialist society itself as the lower stage of communism.Since Marx formally put forward the issue of the development stages of communist society in the Critique of the Gotha Programme,through the realistic exploration of Lenin,Stalin and other Russian revolutionaries,this idea has gained new development and produced new results of understanding in the process of Chinese revolution,construction and reform,forming the theory of the transitional stage of the Chinese Communists,the theory of the primary stage of socialism,the "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics Enters a New Era" and "China Enters a New Stage of Development" are important statements.Studying the socialist development stage theory of the Chinese Communists will help us understand the historical position of China,further grasp the historical initiative,clarify the strategic goals and tasks of Chinese modernization,and create new and greater achievements under the new conditions of the times.This paper focuses on the socialist development stage theory of the Communist Party of China and is divided into the following four main parts in addition to the introduction:The first part introduces the ideological origins of the CPC’s theory of socialist development stages.Marx and Engels summarized the general laws of human social development from their materialistic view of history and initially put forward some principle ideas about the future society.On this basis,Lenin called the first stage of communist society "socialist society" for the first time,taking into account the Russian revolution and socialist construction at that time.Stalin inherited the ideas of Marx,Engels and Lenin,summarized Lenin’s experience of socialist transition,and put forward new views on the transition period and the stages of communist development.The Chinese Communists inherited these ideas critically and formed a theory of socialist development stages with Chinese characteristics.The second part composes the exploration process of the CPC’s theory of socialist development stages.It mainly explains in more detail the formulation of relevant theoretical achievements and their development in the light of history and reality in order to clarify the historical process of the Party’s theory of socialist development stages.This mainly includes the formation and development of the Party’s idea of the transitional stage,the formulation and refinement of the theory of the primary stage of socialism and the further development of the theory of the primary stage of socialism based on new realities since the new era.The third part elaborates the basic content of the main theoretical achievements of the CPC’s theory of the socialist development stage.This is mainly reflected in the analysis of two major theoretical achievements,firstly,on the Party’s theory of the transitional stage,which mainly discusses the two questions of why a transitional stage is needed and how to realize the transition;secondly,on the Party’s theory of the primary stage of socialism,which analyzes both the main contents of the Party’s theory of the primary stage of socialism before the 18 th National Congress,i.e.,the questions on the scientific connotation of the primary stage,the basic line and development strategy,and the It also explains the latest development of the Party’s theory of the primary stage of socialism since the 18 th National Congress,namely,the "new era" and "new stage of development".The fourth part analyzes the theoretical,historical and practical values of this theory.The theoretical value is mainly reflected in the fact that the CPC’s theory of socialist development stages has further deepened and developed the Marxist theory of social forms and scientific socialism,and laid an important foundation for the idea of a new form of human civilization.The historical value is mainly reflected in the fact that the important achievements of this theory have guided China to successfully realize the transition from a new democratic society to a socialist society and achieve the great achievements of reform and opening up and socialist modernization.The realistic value is reflected in the fact that the CPC’s theory of socialist development stages helps our Party formulate correct lines,guidelines and policies,and also helps us recognize the long-term,arduous and complex nature of the socialist cause.This paper adheres to dialectical materialism and historical materialism as its guide,and conducts a relatively in-depth study of the CPC’s theory of socialist development stages from theory to practice and from history to reality,especially incorporating the Party’s relevant latest theoretical achievements since the 18 th Party Congress,making this theory more complete and enriched in logic,which is a useful preliminary attempt.
