As we embark on a new journey to fully build a modern socialist country,modernizing China’s governance system and capacity is a major strategy of China’s modernization drive.The overall strategy of national governance,historical development and practical logic of rural governance in China’s modernization process determine the inevitable trend of rural governance modernization in China.To realize the modernization of rural governance,its core is to clarify the basic issues of "who will govern" and "for whom to govern".Undoubtedly,the peasant masses,as the resident of the countryside and the direct beneficiary of the modernization of rural governance,are the important subject of the modernization of rural governance.However,there are still challenges in the development of farmers’ subjectivity in the modernization of rural governance.In terms of role positioning,farmers are often regarded as "non-scientific" and "irrational" and move to marginal governance positions,resulting in inadequate recognition of their own governance status.In the aspect of action,peasant groups are accustomed to depend on the subject of authority and gradually eliminate the initiative to participate in governance.In the aspect of value display,the sense of gain and happiness of farmers participating in the modernization of rural governance are challenged by utilitarianism.To solve the peasants’ subjectivity in the process of modernization of rural governance "is obscured" problem,this article is based on Marx’s thought people’s subjectivity,looking for the logic between them,with the help of the theoretical system of subject consciousness,practice and subject value triple dimensions,guiding farmers’ subjectivity in the process of modernization of rural governance.
