| The Internet space is undergoing a great transformation from audience to user,from onlooker to participant.Short video,as a new media landscape that visualizes personal life,provides a broader space for women’s self-expression.Based on the macro vision of national policy,the reality of technological empowerment of media sinking +equal rights sharing,and the background of the development of media empowerment theory of communication and rural social reform,Through three dimensions of information,expression and action,this paper describes and analyzes the communication practice of ethnic women in rural areas in the chain of media contact and use-cognition and interaction-content production and communication.Since the founding of New China,the country has always attached great importance to the cause of women.Now the rural society is undergoing historical changes.Ethnic women are skilled,hard-working,intelligent and self-strengthening,as a group holding ethnic skills,spread their skills and present individual images on short video platforms by means of picture appearance,sound appearance and body appearance,completing the transformation from writing female identity to self-empowerment performance.Through the investigation on the practice of short-hand short video communication of ethnic women,it is found that the development of short video gives ethnic women more opportunities to write their own,and enables ethnic women in rural fringe to realize their self-expectation,obtain identity,meet the needs of social communication and construct individual subjectivity in the practice of communication.They apply short video media to communication skills,realize economic benefits,become an important group in the construction of new countryside,and show the power of women in the rural revitalization strategy.This study adopts the method of field investigation to conduct qualitative analysis on the self-presentation of rural ethnic women in the practice of fast hand short video communication.The research finds that: in the spontaneous transmission of the traditional culture of the ethnic women,they actively give play to their talents,break the shackles of gender,and create the image of daring to do,showing themselves boldly,and actively approaching to the power of example;In the practice of communication,the subject consciousness of ethnic women is gradually awakened,they exert their subjective initiative,use their own skills to achieve economic independence,and realize the visibility of rural ethnic women in the construction of rural revitalization.At the same time,they are trapped in their own cultural background,ideology and cognitive level,the media literacy education of rural ethnic women still has a long way to go.In view of this,the research gives several suggestions on media literacy education for ethnic women:(1)from the aspects of female individuals,policy support and ethnic culture communication,improve ethnic women’s media literacy and their own cultural level,and effectively enhance their media use ability;(2)Vigorously promote ethnic unity and gender equality in ethnic minority areas,and strive for more opportunities for ethnic women to participate in skills training and competitions;(3)Encourage them to go out of the countryside to see the world,build a higher and broader communication platform,so that they can get enough communication space and opportunities,so as to promote the harmonious development of gender,ethnic friendship and family harmony. |
