The Study On The Essential Connotation And Realization Path Of "the Needs For A Better Life" In The New Era

Since the 18th Party Congress,the Communist Party of China has adhered to a people-centred approach and advanced the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics to a new stage of development.Towards the new era,General Secretary Xi Jinping clearly pointed out that "the main contradiction in our society has been transformed into the contradiction between the people’s growing needs for a better life and the unbalanced and insufficient development." Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to deeply understand the essential connotation of "the needs for a better life" in the new era,to deeply understand the realistic conditions for realizing "the needs for a better life",and to clarify the path for promoting the transformation of the main social contradictions in the new era.A deeper understanding of the people’s needs for a better life in the new era should not be limited to the human "need" itself,but should first clarify the essential connotation of the people’s "needs for a better life" from the perspective of human and social development."The needs for a better life" are the needs for the "free and comprehensive development" of each individual,which are based on certain social conditions.It must be realized through the conditions of "free and comprehensive development" that society has.Therefore,"the needs for a better life" in the new era are the needs of every individual in the new era to achieve socialist modernisation with high-quality development in all areas of the economy,politics,culture,ecology and society.This also shows us the realistic path to realize "the needs for a better life" in the new era.Starting from the Marxist viewpoint on human development and social development,this article takes the people’s needs for a better life as the main logical line,and discusses four parts,including the essential connotation of people’s needs for a better life in the new era,the realistic conditions,the constraints and the path to realization.The first chapter focuses on the Marxist perspective on human and social development,and then outlines the essence of "the needs for a better life" from historical materialism;The second chapter analyses the socialist conditions and connotations of "the needs for a better life" in the new era;The third chapter deals with the realistic conditions and objective challenges for the realization of "the needs for a better life" in the new era;The fourth chapter explores the path to realize " the needs for a better life" in the new era.
