In the world excellent badminton men’s doubles competition, the attack in the sending and receiving stage has always been paid attention to by various countries. The treatment of the first four beats greatly affects the trend of each round, and even leads to direct gains and losses in the first four beats.Indonesian men’s doubles pair Gideon/Sukamuyo and Japanese men’s doubles pair Kenji Kamura/Kaiwu Yuantian are the main obstacles on the way to winning the championship,so it is of great practical significance to study the techniques and tactics of the first four beats. With the methods of literature review, video observation, mathematical statistics, and contrastive analysis, this paper makes detailed observation and data entry on the video of 10 matches between Chinese team Li Junhui/Liu Yuchen and Indonesian team Gideon/Sukamuyo and Japanese team Kenshi Kamura/Kaiwu Yuantian.Combined with technical, placement, route, state and other indicators, this paper makes a technical analysis of serving, receiving, the third beat and the fourth beat when Chinese combination matches two groups, and then explores the technical and tactical implementation characteristics, effects and differences of the first four beats when Chinese combination matches two pairs. After the study, the following results were obtained:1.In terms of serving, the Chinese combination played against Indonesia and Japan mainly in Zone 1 and Zone 5.However,the Chinese combination played against Indonesia with relatively little change in serving placement, and the rate of losing points was higher than that against Japan. When playing against the Japanese team, the Chinese team reduced the proportion of serving in Area 5 and adopted the way of serving the backcourt ball more, and this serving strategy has achieved a good restrictive effect on the Japanese team.2.In receiving service,Chinese team mainly uses rubbing and pushing techniques when dealing with Indonesian team, while pushing technique is the most used when facing Japanese team.Indonesian team uses more service receiving techniques, while Japanese team relies on pushing technique, which mainly attacks the midfield and backhand area of Chinese team, but after receiving and sending the ball,it is relatively passive, and it is mainly forced by pumping technique.3.As for the third beat and its relation to serve, the passive technique used by Chinese combination against Indonesian combination is more than that used by Japanese combination, and the server should do a good job of intercepting the third beat on the basis of increasing the change of serve. However, the third beat of Indonesian combination uses more powerful counter-pumping techniques, and its ability to reverse disadvantages or expand advantages is from high to low:Indonesian combination>Chinese combination>Japanese combination.4.In the fourth beat and its association with receiving service, the Chinese combination still focuses on the midfield drawing and blocking technique against India and Japan, but the attack opportunity against Japan is obviously more than that of Indonesia. When playing against Indonesia,we should strengthen the connection between receiving service and the flat draw and fast block in the front field in the fourth beat, while when playing against Japan,we should strengthen the coherence between receiving service and the fourth beat.Based on the above research results, the following conclusions can be drawn:1.In the aspect of serving, when the Chinese team played against the Indonesian team, the placement of serving was single, and the effect of serving the backcourt was poor. However, when playing against Japan, the placement changed a lot, especially after the serve,it played a better role in limiting it.2.In receiving the service, when the Chinese team receives the Indonesian team’s service, the "soft" sending and receiving strategy of rubbing and dialing has achieved good results, but it is necessary to improve the quality of returning the ball to prevent the opponent from grabbing the net and causing the third shot to be passive. When sending and receiving the Japanese combination, the return strategy mainly draws fast with the opponent and achieves good results, which shows that the Chinese combination is not afraid of its drawing ability when it confronts the Japanese combination.3.As for the third beat and its association with the third beat, the Chinese combination has a high passive rate and relatively poor ability to get rid of passivity when dealing with the Indonesian combination,so it is necessary to take the initiative in the third beat in combination with the change of service. However, when dealing with the Japanese combination, the initiative rate of the third beat is relatively high,so it is necessary to strengthen the follow-up depression of the third beat after serving.4.As for the fourth beat and its association with the fourth beat, the fourth beat needs to exert strength in the flat-draw and fast-block,or take the initiative to change,so as to form a better coherence with the receiving service. When playing against the Japanese combination,it mainly improves the coherence of offensive depression in the fourth beat after receiving the service, and reduces active mistakes.
