With a new round of curriculum reform in full swing,modern educational methods and ideas are also constantly innovating.Physics teaching methods and teaching ideas gradually enriched.And some new foreign education ideas and methods introduced into China in the 21 st century.Outcome-Based Education(OBE)and Problem-Based Learning(PBL)have gradually entered the field of vision of educational researchers.The application of this method in domestic universities,medical majors and engineering fields is in hot progress,so it can be seen that OBE concept and PBL teaching method have occupied a place in teaching.However,the current research on OBE concept and PBL teaching method lacks the combination of practical effects and case studies,as well as the research on the understanding of some less developed regions such as Tongliao City,Inner Mongolia.Therefore,the following research is carried out in this paper:First of all,two schools in Tongliao were interviewed to understand how the physics teachers grasped the OBE concept and PBL teaching method.The results showed that teachers have little understanding of OBE and PBL teaching method.Secondly,through the analysis of the content of the teaching materials,the OBE concept and PBL teaching method are integrated into OP teaching method.The advantages of both are fully played.And then select the content of teaching material for teaching design and implemented in Experimental high school at Inner Mongolia Minzu University.Thirdly,a questionnaire survey and interviews were conducted among teachers and students who participated in the implementation of OP teaching method in Tongliao city to understand their attitude.Through the analysis of the survey results and further interview,the results are as follows :(1)teachers hold a favorable attitude;(2)students could accept it;(3)the teacher thinks that the teaching method is more applicable in some content of physics teaching;(4)students feel that the level of their participation has been increased.Finally,in order to promote the application of OP teaching method in the physics experiment teaching in Tongliao high school,we analyzed and summarizes the conclusions.Then we recognized the superiority of OP teaching method and did a good job in the effective combination of OP teaching method and traditional teaching.And we put forward reasonable suggestions for the development of OP teaching method in Tongliao high school physics teaching :(1)open up publicity channels at the school level;(2)strengthen teaching research at the teacher level;(3)strengthen confidence building at the student level.
