With the advancement of the new curriculum reform, the chemistry experiment questions of the National College Entrance Examination pay more and more attention to the connection between chemistry and production and life, and strengthen the examination of candidates’ chemistry literacy. As compulsory questions, experimental questions account for 20-21 points in the National College Entrance Examination every year. The multiple-choice questions in this type of questions focus on the examination of details and basics, while the comprehensive questions attach importance to linking theory with practice, focusing not only on examining students’ ability to analyze and process information such as words, processes, and diagrams, but also on students’ problem-solving skills, truly reflect a student’s scientific literacy. However, the exam results show that it is difficult for students to apply the knowledge they have learned to the test situation, some cannot understand the questions, have weak ability to solve practical problems, have flawed problem solving ideas or give irrelevant answers. Therefore,it is necessary to conduct research and analysis on this type of test questions, summarize the characteristics of the questions, find problem-solving strategies, provide teachers with scientific teaching strategies, and provide students with better problem-solving ideas.Discussing the current research status and related theoretical basis, based on the research results of various literature, this paper takes the chemistry experiment questions of the past six years’(2016-2021)Guizhou college entrance examination papers(National Volume III and A)as the research object.Statistical analysis of the questions is conducted on aspects including score proportions, levels of the content, core subject literacy, the presentation of the questions, and knowledge points. The result reveals the following characteristics of the experimental questions: 1.Multiple-choice questions attach importance to the foundation and details as well as the transfer and application of basic knowledge.2.Comprehensive experimental questions are flexible and open, highlighting the foundation and emphasizing ability conception and literacy orientation;3.The test situation adapts to the changes of the times and connects with society and life, strengthening the examination of core literacy, permeated with innovative thinking and learning ability, and reflecting the value of chemistry.Through the study of the solution methods of the experimental questions, this paper proposed strategies for solving multiple-choice experimental questions, including focusing on the consolidation of basic knowledge and establishing a problem-solving thinking mode.It also proposed comprehensive experiment problem solving strategies, namely building a thinking model to clarify problem-solving ideas;simplifying the answering language and using standard language;associating the questions with chemical knowledge and principles to convert the complexity into simplicity. This paper also studies the status of students’ question answering of Anshun No.2Senior High School students using questionnaires and interviews. The result shows that the scores of students’ chemistry experiment questions are not ideal, and it is easy to for students to lose points in experimental design, evaluation, and experimental data processing. In addition, students with weak foundation are afraid of the experimental questions, who can not understand the questions during the examination. In view of this, the following suggestions are put forward for students in the experimental review module, namely adjusting mentality and be confident, consolidating basic knowledge, building a knowledge system, learning to think independently, dealing with "wrong questions" correctly, improving ability to summarize and synthesize knowledge, paying attention to daily practice, and improving comprehensive ability. At the end of the paper, based on the investigation and the students’ review status of the current chemistry experiment questions, the following teaching suggestions are put forward for chemistry experiment review of senior three students, namely paying attention to national policy documents and analyzing them to accurately grasp the direction of the exam;returning to chemistry textbooks and exploring the origin;paying close attention to the frontiers of science, broadening knowledge horizons, enriching classroom content;teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, designing teaching rationally, and improving classroom teaching efficiency.Analyzing the chemistry experiment questions of the college entrance examination meets the requirements of the new curriculum reform and the development needs of the times.Through this research,we hope to give some enlightenment to chemistry education, improve teachers’ teaching ability, improve review efficiency, and help students to meet the challenges of college entrance examination more confidently and easily.
