Chemical history is one of the key core components of chemistry. It is not only a comprehensive historical description of the chemical knowledge of nature through continuous social practice, but also a historical record of Chemical Research on the emergence, development and evolution of chemistry. The history of Chemistry contains rich educational value. It combines natural science with humanities and society, which can effectively promote the gradual development of chemistry and the continuous progress of chemical science. Moreover, other knowledge can not replace the functions of students in constructing scientific thinking, understanding the ideas of chemistry and cultivating core literacy. In order to explore whether the application of chemistry history teaching has a positive effect on cultivating students’ "Scientific attitude and Social responsibility",this study arranges and analyzes the relevant contents of chemistry history in the new chemistry curriculum standard and the chapter contents, presentation methods, presentation columns, emergence years, involved characters and countries of Chemistry history in the Compulsory Chemistry Textbook of new education edition,This paper demonstrates the educational and teaching requirements of the history of chemistry; Some teachers and students of Liaocheng No.4 middle school were selected as the research objects, and the interview survey and questionnaire survey were carried out respectively, which provided a feasibility analysis for using the teaching of chemical history to cultivate students’ "Scientific attitude and Social responsibility";After the implementation of teaching, the questionnaire survey is conducted again according to the investigation dimension of the pre-test,the results of the two questionnaires are summarized, compared and analyzed, and the effect of teaching practice is analyzed in combination with the interview survey results.Through the research,it is found that the teaching practice of chemical history can not only help students improve their understanding of chemical knowledge, but also stimulate students’ interest in learning chemistry. The most important thing is to effectively cultivate students’ "Scientific attitude and Social responsibility" in six different dimensions. Therefore, teachers should appropriately increase the content of chemical history in the teaching process.
