| In recent years,Brain-Computer Interface(BCI)and Virtual Reality(VR)technology have become hotspots in research and application at home and abroad.Combining BCI and VR can achieve complementary advantages while BCI provides VR with a new interactive mode and VR provides a highly immersive situation for BCI,which makes BCI-VR system have high research value and broad application prospects. At the same time,in the field of education, especially in children’s education, few BCI-VR applications have been implemented. Therefore, this paper applied the virtual reality interaction method based on electroencephalogram(EEG)to children’s educational games, designed virtual reality children’s education games based on P300,and tested the level of attention in these games. The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)Used Unity to build a virtual reality scene for children’s education games, including three puzzle games, designed their scene interaction and specific gameplay process respectively and enriched the scene details by animation and particle systems.Through these,Users can get more vivid, more interesting and more motivating virtual interaction and feedback, which makes them more immersed in this game.(2)Designed a virtual reality children’s education game system based on P300 to realize using the P300 signals to control VR game scene.Meanwhile, this paper proposed a new P300 stimulation paradigm based on 3D particle effects for virtual reality environment. The flickering stimuli of this paradigm include changes in button shape, size, color, and depth information, accompanied by dynamic animation effects. In this paper, comparative experiments were designed to compare the intensity of P300 signals induced by 2D paradigm,3D paradigm, and particle 3D paradigm and the performance differences of P300 systems based on these three paradigms. The results show that the particle 3D paradigm can induce stronger P300 signals, and the P300 system based on the particle 3D paradigm has better performance in various performance indicators, proving that the particle 3D paradigm can improve the performance of the P300 system.(3)Designed an attention classification experiment to test the attention level of subjects playing this virtual reality game while using Schulte Grid paradigm to collect subjects’ EEG signals in different attention states as standard data set to train classification models for attention levels.Designed an another experiment to study the effect of virtual reality games on attention.Using virtual reality children’s education game built in this paper, the subjects’ attention EEG data in VR and 2D game environments were analyzed by statistical correlation methods. The results showed that in the VR game environment, the attention score of the subjects is generally higher than that of the 2D game, and the change of attention is relatively stable. The paired sample t-test method proved that the attention score has a significant correlation with the game environment and virtual reality games have a positive effect on attention in a statistical sense. |
