Research On The Cultivation Of Anti-epidemic Spirit Among College Students

The COVID-19 epidemic was a sudden public health crisis that brought great harm and impact to the production and life of the people,and the Chinese people were in danger as the disease ruthlessly devoured lives.The Communist Party of China(CPC),without disgracing its mission,stepped forward and led the whole nation to fight against the disease and achieved significant strategic results.In this struggle against the epidemic,the great spirit of fighting the epidemic was nurtured and formed.The anti-epidemic spirit absorbs the excellent cultural nutrition of the Chinese nation,unites the essence of the times,inherits the revolutionary tradition of the Communist Party of China,provides value guidance for guiding the practice of anti-epidemic struggle,has profound spiritual implications,and is a new valuable treasure of the Chinese nation.Cultivating people with the anti-epidemic spirit is the need of the situation and meets the needs of the times,so ideological and political education work must seriously study how to strengthen the cultivation of the anti-epidemic spirit to better adapt to the post-epidemic era.College students are an important force to promote national development and social progress,and bear the mission and responsibility under the new situation.Cultivating college students to grow up and become successful is the main responsibility and task of colleges and universities,so it is necessary to explore how to optimize the cultivation of anti-epidemic spirit among college students by improving the ideological and political education work in universities.The survey data and actual interview results reflect that the current cultivation of antiepidemic spirit among college students mainly has the dilemma that some college students are not aware of the anti-epidemic spirit,some colleges and universities’ Civics and Political Science courses failing to meet the needs,weak practical aspects of cultivating anti-epidemic spirit among college students,and the lack of outstanding characteristics of cultivating antiepidemic spirit in campus culture.Based on the characteristics of relatively active and malleable thinking of college students,we analyze the favorable conditions and the difficulties of cultivating the anti-epidemic spirit of college students and its causes by combining the relevant theories.Focusing on the five perspectives of raising awareness of the spirit of anti-epidemic,enhancing the effectiveness of the university’s Civics course,expanding the practical link,strengthening the campus culture and improving the working mechanism,constructively propose optimized countermeasures for the cultivation path of anti-epidemic spirit among college students with relevance and feasibility.In this study,the literature research method was used to sort out the research results related to anti-epidemic spirit and to review the current status of research.By analyzing the connotation and value of the anti-epidemic spirit,we then argue that the spirit of resistance is important to the ideological and political education work in universities.At the same time,the research method of questionnaire survey and interview is used to investigate some teachers and students in several universities to grasp the current situation of fostering the spirit of resistance to the anti-epidemic spirit among college students,to propose optimized countermeasures for the difficulties and causes,and to provide empirical support for the research on cultivating the anti-epidemic spirit among college students and improving the ideological and political education work.
