Research And Practice Of Chemistry Experiment Teaching In Senior High School Under The STSE Education Concept

STSE is the abbreviation of Science,Technology,Society and Environment.STSE is a new educational concept to promote students’ all-round development under the special social and cultural background.Chemical experiment is not only an effective approach for students to learn chemical principles and knowledge,but also an crucial way to cultivate students’ attitude of scientific inquiry.The development of chemical experiment teaching in Senior High School under the concept of STSE education conforms to the trend of social development,meets the needs of curriculum standards for teachers and students,and is conducive to students’ healthy and all-round development.Therefore,it is imperative to permeate the education concept of STSE in high school chemical experiment teaching.This article is mainly divided into four chapters.In the first chapter,the STSE education concept and the research background of Chemical Experiment Teaching,the overseas and domestic research status is discussed,and the research theme is determined.In the second chapter,the concept of STSE education and the related concepts of chemical experiment teaching are defined,and the theoretical basis of this paper is introduced.In the third chapter,the current situation of the application of STSE education concept in Senior High School Chemistry Experiment Teaching is investigated.In the fourth chapter,first of all,the design principles and teaching strategies of chemistry experiment teaching in Senior High School under the STSE education concept are expounded,secondly,the typical cases of five experimental related columns in Chemistry Compulsory Textbook of senior high school published by People’s Education Press in 2019 are selected for teaching design and teaching process analysis,which fully reflects the application value of STSE education concept in different experimental columns,finally,through interviews,questionnaires,test papers and other ways to analyze the teaching effect achieved in practice.It has been shown by studies that chemistry experiment teaching in Senior High School under the concept of STSE education can strengthen the connection between chemistry and science,technology,society and environment,develop students’ chemistry core quality,improve teachers’ professional quality and make chemistry experiment classes more contemporary.
