| Extra-curricular reading is an organic supplement and extension of in-class reading and an important part of Chinese teaching.Middle school students can not only enrich their spiritual world,improve their Chinese literacy,but also help to develop their own potential,and promote their all-round development through a wide range of extra-curricular reading.With the development of science and technology and the progress of society,the pace of new curriculum reform is gradually accelerating,and the status of extra-curricular reading has been significantly improved.But at present,the situation of rural junior high school students’ extracurricular reading is still not optimistic,both in quality and quantity of reading,there is a big gap with urban students.Based on this social background,I chose this topic.This paper aims to investigate two rural junior middle schools in Y County,S City,Jilin Province,summarize the existing problems in the current situation of extracurricular reading teaching of Chinese students in rural junior middle schools,analyze the causes,and put forward optimization strategies for extracurricular reading teaching of rural junior middle school students,hoping to make contributions to improving the Chinese literacy of rural junior middle school students.Based on the theory of constructivism and the theory of the zone of Proximal development,this study comprehensively used literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and other methods to carry out the investigation.First of all,through literature review of extracurricular reading related literature,determine the dimension of this study,the rural junior high school students extracurricular reading status questionnaire and interview outline.Secondly,a questionnaire survey was conducted on 300 students from Y County No.7 Middle School and Y County No.27 Middle School,and an interview was conducted on 13 Chinese teachers and 50 parents of students,and conclusions were drawn.Finally,from the school,teachers,students,parents of the rural junior middle school students extracurricular reading teaching status of research,analysis.This study consists of five parts.The first part mainly includes the research background and significance,research status at home and abroad,research ideas and methods,connotation interpretation and theoretical basis.The second part is the investigation and analysis of the current situation of Chinese extra-curricular reading teaching for junior middle school students in rural areas,mainly including the analysis of questionnaire survey results and interview results.The third part summarizes the problems existing in the current situation of Chinese extra-curricular reading teaching for junior middle school students in rural areas and analyzes the causes.The fourth part of the rural junior middle school students Chinese extracurricular reading teaching status of the optimization strategy.The fifth part is the practice and reflection of rural junior middle school students’ Chinese extracurricular reading teaching strategy.Y county rural schools in the two problems of the extracurricular reading has a certain universality,for other rural middle school extracurricular reading instruction and practice in the county also has certain reference value,hoped that this research can play a more and more scholars and teachers pay attention to the positive role of extracurricular reading,to improve the rural middle school students’ comprehensive quality,promote the quality of rural education development so as to provide basis and strategy. |
