| Travelogue prose has a unique aesthetic and pedagogical value,and plays an important role in improving students’ language literacy and promoting their all-round development.With the use of the unified version of textbooks and the practice of language core literacy,travelogue prose has received more and more attention,and its teaching research is gradually going deeper.Based on the characteristics of travelogue prose and students’ learning needs,many teachers choose to apply it to travelogue prose teaching,so as to mobilize students’ learning initiative,enrich students’ emotional experience and improve the teaching efficiency of travelogue prose.Based on the unified version of the middle school language textbook,the thesis takes the contextual teaching method as the entry point and uses questionnaires,interviews and classroom observations to investigate teachers and students in a middle school in S.It finds the problems of the contextual teaching method in teaching travelogue prose in middle school and proposes targeted application strategies in order to improve the research on teaching travelogue prose in middle school and provide new ideas for teachers to teach travelogue prose in context.The paper is divided into four parts.The thesis is divided into four parts except for the introduction.Firstly,we analyze the selected articles and teaching contents of the unified version of junior high school travelogue prose,and find that the rich content of the selected articles of travelogue prose provides a variety of perspectives for the application of contextual teaching method to travelogue prose teaching,and determine the feasibility of the contextual teaching method in travelogue prose teaching from three aspects: the contextual teaching method meets the psychological characteristics of junior high school students,the requirements of language curriculum standards and the contextual characteristics of travelogue prose.The feasibility of the application of contextual teaching method in the teaching of travelogue prose is determined.Secondly,the current situation of contextual teaching of travelogue prose in junior high school is investigated,and it is found that there are problems such as students’ lack of interest in learning travelogue prose,teachers’ formal creation of context,inadequate preparation before class,lack of effective migration after class,and single way of contextual teaching evaluation,etc.The problems are attributed to insufficient attention to the uniqueness of travelogue prose,bias in cognition of contextual teaching method and utilitarian evaluation of contextual teaching.The three aspects are.Again,based on the analysis of the problems and causes,the application strategies of contextual teaching method in the teaching of travelogue prose in junior high school are proposed from four aspects: preparation before class,fully creating the context;classroom teaching,flexibly developing the context;post-class extension,effectively transferring and improving the context;multiple evaluation,improving the contextual teaching.Finally,the proposed teaching strategies are applied to the actual teaching design by taking "Three Gorges" and "Hukou Waterfall" as examples,combined with classroom observation and reflection on the application examples,to summarize the advantages and precautions of the application of contextual teaching method in the teaching of travelogue prose in junior high school. |
