"Redox reaction" is the core content of high school chemistry,a main line running through high school chemistry teaching,but also the key point of high school teaching.Only by establishing a complete cognitive structure of "redox reaction" can students improve students ’understanding and mastery of the knowledge of element compounds learned in the future,and lay a foundation for further strengthening students’ ability to infer unknown substances and understand the relevant characteristics of substances.At the present stage,students’ learning of redox reaction knowledge is easy to produce learning difficulties.Therefore,this paper studies the learning difficulties from the theoretical and practical parts and the transformation strategy of the chemical "redox reaction" under the new teaching materials,and puts forward the corresponding teaching suggestions.This paper preliminarily summarizes and sorts out the curriculum standards and relevant teaching contents in middle and high school textbooks through literature research method,interview method and case study.Through the student questionnaire survey,the main problems of "redox reaction" are analyzed:(1)the failure of mastering the connection between the redox reaction and derivative concepts;(2)the relevant concepts;(3)the difficulty of judging the oxidation(reduction);(4)the forgetting of the electronic conservation law of gain and loss;(5)The valence judgment of more complex substances is wrong,and the simple calculation of redox reaction cannot be completed correctly.On the basis of data analysis and research,the causes of learning difficulties of "redox reaction" are studied:(1)from the aspect of knowledge points,redox reaction learning content is complex,complex,abstract,and more understood from the micro level.(2)From the aspect of teachers,teachers ignore the establishment of students’ concept and the concept of subsequent learning.(3)From the aspect of students,the learning methods,strategies and thinking construction improperly influence students’ learning,leading to knowledge fault and learning difficulties.Based on the survey results,the transformation of the "redox reaction" content is put forward: teacher teaching:(1)change the teaching order,reduce the establishment of students’ pre-concept and the interference of subsequent learning.(2)Create a rich and vivid teaching situation,mobilize students’ interest in learning,and enhance the knowledge transfer and learning effect.(3)Strengthen the role of students’ group communication,set up a dynamic level of homework,step by step,and teach students in accordance with their aptitude;(4)pay attention to the transformation of students with learning difficulties,and actively guide students.Students:(1)establish knowledge concept map,form visual tools,and strengthen understanding and memory.(2)Correct your learning attitude and develop good study habits.On the basis of the comprehensive analysis strategy,two students conducted a case study of learning difficulties,and the conclusions are as follows: From the selected case to the end of the study,after the teaching transformation practice,the average score of the transformed students and the class is significantly different,which can be seen that learning transformation is helpful to students’ performance.
