At present,China’s policy refers to creating conditions for students’ personalized learning in the long-term development of education,the construction of educational informatization and the reform of educational evaluation.However,teachers can’t quickly understand each student’s knowledge level and acceptance in the traditional classroom teaching environment,personalized teaching is difficult to carry out.With the continuous development of science and technology,adaptive learning system appears in researchers’ field of vision.Combining the support of artificial intelligence,big data and data mining technology with the domain knowledge of education,cognition and behavioral science to realize the collection,analysis and personalized intelligent recommendation of complex data is an effective way to realize personalized learning and development,which has received extensive attention in the field of education.However,at present,the research on adaptive learning platform in China is still in the development stage,and its application in the classroom is still rare.In order to explore the mode of integrating adaptive learning platform into the classroom and provide reference for personalized teaching by applying adaptive learning platform in basic education,this study takes Dream Box Learning adaptive learning platform as the research object,analyzes and draws lessons from its core components,functions,applications and other advantages,and puts forward the application mode of adaptive learning platform based on Chinese curriculum standards and Squirrel AI adaptive learning system.The research mainly uses the literature research method,text analysis method and case study method to collect and sort out data,which includes the technical aspects such as the operation mechanism,core components and system functions of Dream Box platform and the cases integrated into the school district or school classroom,and refines its main application modes and elements.On this basis,it compares with the domestic squirrel AI learning system,and designs a teaching mode that applies the adaptive learning platform to the classroom based on squirrel AI.It includes supporting environment,classroom teaching,group rotation,discussion and demonstration,and puts forward three implementation strategies: pre-class preparation,application scope and multi-evaluation.Taking Classification of Triangle,the fourth volume of Mathematics published by People’s Education Press,as an example,this paper expounds how to apply this model.The research is mainly divided into six parts.The first chapter,starting from the current policy requirements and teaching practice in China,expounds the research background and problems,and briefly introduces the research contents and methods.The second chapter defines the concepts used in the research,expounds the theories embodied in the research,and summarizes the existing research trends at home and abroad from the aspects of adaptive learning system and integration of technology and curriculum.The third chapter introduces the Dream Box adaptive learning platform from four aspects: platform construction background,core components,function overview and operation mechanism.The fourth chapter presents four Dream Box use cases with different emphases,aiming at extracting the relevant models and elements of integrating the platform into mathematics classroom from diversified applications.The fifth chapter compares Dream Box with squirrel AI,and puts forward a teaching model based on squirrel AI adaptive learning system based on the differences of curriculum standards between the two countries and the functions and characteristics of squirrel AI.The sixth chapter summarizes this research,clarifies the innovation of the research,and puts forward shortcomings and prospects.
