A Study Of Discourse Markers In Modern Texts Of College Entrance Examination

This paper mainly takes discourse markers and modern texts of college entrance examination language as research objects,and systematically studies discourse markers in modern texts of college entrance Examination language.This paper uses relevance theory and systematic functional grammar theory,mainly adopts the methods of combining description and explanation,combining quantitative and qualitative,and comparative study to conduct a comprehensive investigation of discourse markers in scientific discourse,news discourse and literary discourse in college entrance examination,so as to enrich the research on the combination of discourse markers theory and modern reading teaching practice in high school Chinese.So that language research can really play a role in language practice.This paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly expounds the origin,significance and object of the research,sorts out the relevant research status,explains the research methods and explains the source of corpus.The second chapter mainly analyzes the classification and function of discourse markers.After a comprehensive analysis of some representative views on discourse marker classification at home and abroad,this chapter determines the classification of discourse marker from the perspective of function in combination with the research purpose and object of this paper.At the same time,discourse marker’s textual function and its sub-function,interpersonal function and its sub-function are discussed in detail.The third chapter mainly analyzes the function and expression form of discourse markers in different styles of modern texts of college entrance examination.First of all,according to the research purpose and the actual corpus,this chapter divides the modern discourse of college entrance examination Chinese into scientific discourse,news discourse and literary discourse.Then,this chapter describes the expression forms and frequency of each function of discourse markers in the three types of discourse markers in the modern text of the college entrance Examination.On this basis,it explores the reasons for the use of discourse markers from the perspective of stylistic features.By comparing the modern text of the college entrance examination with the original text of the modern text,it explores how the question makers deliberately adjust the original text of the modern text.The function of discourse markers is helpful to give full play to the role of discourse analysis.Finally,the conclusion summarizes the whole paper and points out the shortcomings of this paper.
