Research purposeWheelchair curling has attracted much attention as a gold medal event for the disabled.The establishment of scientific body function evaluation index not only helps to accurately assess the state of body function of excellent wheelchair curler,but also plays an important role in the assessment of stage ability,and it is of great significance for the athlete selection and the athlete selection of the project.On the one hand,the Delphi method is used to construct the key physiological index system that conforms to the features of wheelchair curling and the athletes’ physical function.On the other hand,by applying this index system to the selection process of the national wheelchair curling team before the 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympic Games,the scientific and feasibility of this index system is verified.Research methodStudy 1: Establishment of the Key physiological index system of winning for Chinese elite wheelchair curlers.In this study,CNKI China National Knowledge Network and EBSCO foreign language database are mainly used to search relevant works and literatures such as "wheelchair curling","shooting","index system construction" and "physiological indicators".Through the methods of literature review,field research and questionnaire survey,the key physiological indicators of winning wheelchair curlers were collected.Then,three rounds of questionnaires were conducted by Delphi method,and the Expert Questionnaire on the Construction of Key Physiological Index System for Winning Chinese Excellent Wheelchair curlers was developed.The test objects mainly included wheelchair curlers,curling coaches,scholars and athletes,and experts in the field of physiology and biochemistry,etc.15 valid volumes were obtained.The key physiological index system of our excellent wheelchair curler is constructed according to the sieve index.Study 2: The application of the key physiological index system of Chinese elite wheelchair curlers.Based on the key physiological index system of winning Chinese elite wheelchair curlers preliminarily established in the first part of the study,this part of the study tested 10 athletes of the national wheelchair curler assembled training team preparing for the 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympic Games through the test method(all the tested and screened data were valid).According to the system model preliminarily constructed in Study 1,the empirical analysis method is used to analyze the athletes’ pre-competition physical function,and analyze its correlation with the pre-competition simulation,so as to verify the feasibility and scientificity of the index system.Research resultsResearch 1:(1)The key physiological index system of winning of Chinese elite wheelchair curlers mainly includes: the first level index 3: nervous system,cardiopulmonary function regulation system,energy metabolism system.There were 11 secondary indexes: central nervous system,DC wave(ECG),parasympathetic activity,sympathetic activity,heart rate variability(RMSSD,LF/HF),resting heart rate,aperiodic effect,tension level,blood pressure.(2)The key physiological index system of winning for Chinese excellent wheelchair curlers should follow the principle of priority for the disabled,the principle of specialization,the principle of scientific science,the principle of differentiation,the principle of reliability,the principle of differentiated treatment,and the principle of operability.Research 2:(1)The central nervous system,parasympathetic nerve activity,heart rate variability(RMSSD,LF/HF)and aperiodic influence indexes of body function indexes were positively correlated with the results of pre-competition simulation(p < 0.05),and the correlation coefficients were 0.929,0.892,0.793,0.892,0.810;The tension level and sympathetic nerve activity were negatively correlated with the results of pre-competition simulation(p < 0.05),and the correlation coefficients were-0.793 and-0.433.No correlation was found between DC wave(ECG)and resting heart rate and pre-competition simulation results(p > 0.05).(2)In the process of player selection,there were significant differences in central nervous system,DC wave(ECG),heart rate variability(RMSSD,LF/HF),sympathetic nerve activity,resting heart rate and parasympathetic nerve activity between main players and sparring players(p < 0.05);The tension level was significantly different(p < 0.01).There was no significant difference in aperiodic effects.Research conclusionConclusion 1: The key physiological index system established in this study has a reasonable structure and high reliability and validity test.The selected indexes can not only relate to the technical characteristics of wheelchair curling,but also effectively reflect the stage changes of Chinese elite wheelchair curlers.Conclusion 2: It is proved by the pre-competition simulation of Beijing Winter Paralympic Games that the index system is based on the features of wheelchair curlers,and is feasible and scientific.It can be used as the physiological index system for the selection of athletes and the function evaluation of athletes before the selection.
