Study On Xi Jinping’s Concept Of Labour In University Education Practice

Labour is the core category of human social and historical development,people create history and labour creates the future.Since entering the new era,General Secretary Xi Jinping,standing on the new journey of building a modern socialist country,has pointed out that labour is "the fundamental force that drives human social progress",stressing that "socialism is made by doing,and the new era is also made by doing" and that "all happiness in this world is created by hard work"."It is clear that in order to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,it is necessary to cultivate knowledgeable,skilled and innovative workers and to rely on "hard,honest and creative labour".This theory has a rich ideological basis,scientific connotation and practical value,and it has become a new proposition of the times to implement and practise Xi Jinping’s view of labour.As the first place to cultivate talents in the new era,it is of great value and practical significance to implement and practise Xi Jinping’s concept of labour in university education.By insisting on Xi Jinping’s labour concept as the fundamental guideline,and taking the historical experience of the Communist Party of China in the practice of labour education in colleges and universities over the past century as the basis for practice,and combining with the fundamental task of establishing moral education in colleges and universities in the new era,the development of economy and society as well as the development of college students themselves and other new educational needs of the times,it has created and provided very favourable conditions for the effective implementation of labour education in colleges and universities.Through the questionnaire survey and case interviews conducted at Y University,a local comprehensive university,and the analysis of the questionnaire data and interview results,it was found that since the in-depth implementation of Xi Jinping’s concept of labour,Y University has not only strengthened the importance of labour education,but also significantly improved the awareness of labour among university students.These problems are closely related to the setting of labour education courses in universities,the guarantee of resources,the construction of culture and the education of students’ own labour concept.In the process of education practice in Y University,the real situation of Xi Jinping’s labour concept is further clarified.Based on this,Xi Jinping’s labour concept in university education practice needs to be continuously improved and optimised,starting from four aspects:improving the labour education curriculum system,improving the labour education guarantee mechanism,creating a strong campus labour culture atmosphere,and strengthening university students’ selfeducation awareness,so as to enhance and improve the effectiveness of Xi Jinping’s labour concept in university education practice and promote a more scientific,standardised and systematic labour education in universities.
