| In recent years,in the field of international science education,the research on learning progression has gradually become a hot topic in the field of education research at home and abroad.Learning progression emphasizes on the level of students’ cognitive development,which can ensure the consistency and coherence of classroom content.It has great practical value in classroom teaching.The core concept of "electrochemistry" is an important part of the concept of high school chemistry.Therefore,this study takes "electrochemistry" as the core content theme,and extracts the core concept of "electrochemistry" based on the Curriculum Standards for High school Chemistry(2017 edition),various versions of high school chemistry textbooks,advanced exams and related research.The Chem Query evaluation system is applied to divide the level of students’ understanding of the core concept of "electrochemistry",construct the evaluation index system of the learning progression of the core concept of "Electrochemistry",which is used to describe the thinking development path of students’ understanding of the core concept of "electrochemistry" at different ages,and develop the measurement tool of the learning progression of the core concept of "electrochemistry" on this basis.The development process of the measurement tool went through two rounds of test.The obtained data were tested and analyzed by Rasch model.The results showed that both the overall quality test and the reliability and validity of the measurement data were within the acceptable range.Using the developed "electrochemical" core concept learning advanced measurement tool,a large sample empirical study was carried out.The empirical research results show that the measurement tool has a good performance index.By analyzing the measurement results,the following conclusions can be drawn:1.The learning progression measurement tool of the core concept of "electrochemistry" constructed in this study is reasonable;2.Students in different grades have different understanding abilities of the core concepts of "electrochemistry".Most of the students in grade two are at advanced level2 and level 3,while a few are at advanced level 1 and level 4.Most of the senior three students’ concept understanding level is at advanced level 3 and 4,but there are still some students at advanced level 1 and level 2.3.In this study,Chem Query evaluation system is applied to study the understanding level of students’ core concepts of "electrochemistry",and four suggestions are put forward for teaching practice.The purpose of this study is to provide references for other learners,to promote the integrated research of "teaching-learning-assessment" in high school chemistry classroom,and to enrich the research achievements of basic chemistry education. |
