| Previous studies have shown that learning quality play an important role in the development of young children,and autonomous play is an important way to cultivate learning quality.However,in kindergarten practice,what support strategies teachers will adopt to develop young children’s learning quality is often overlooked.This study used a combination of observation and interview methods to study teacher support strategies for promoting the development of children’s learning quality in S kindergarten autonomous play.Specifically,firstly,an observation method was used to observe the support strategies of 22 kindergarten teachers in promoting the development of children’s learning quality in autonomous play.A total of 550 minutes of autonomous play observation videos were captured to analyze the learning quality support strategies of teachers in autonomous play;Secondly,in-depth interviews were conducted with 14 teachers using the interview method to understand their perspectives on learning quality support strategies in autonomous play.The results show that in autonomous play,teachers’ strategies to support children’s learning quality are as follows: paying attention to the preparation of environmental materials before autonomous play,paying attention to the linkage of observation and guidance in autonomous play,and paying attention to the combination of recording and sharing after autonomous play.Through the analysis of the current situation of support strategies for promoting the development of children’s learning quality in autonomous play,it is found that there are three pairs of contradictions in the support strategies for children’s learning quality in autonomous play,namely the contradiction between the richness of material types before autonomous play and the development of children’s learning quality,and the contradiction between the appropriateness of teacher intervention timing in autonomous play and the development of children’s learning quality,The contradiction between the smoothness of the connection in the post play stage and the development of children’s learning quality.The main reasons for the problems in kindergarten are the combined effects of three factors: teachers’ educational concepts,abilities,and practical difficulties in kindergarten practice.Finally,based on the strategies of teachers in S kindergarten to support the development of children’s learning quality,suggestions were proposed for teachers to promote the development of children’s learning quality in autonomous play.The specific suggestions are as follows:teachers should provide materials to support the development of children’s interests and motivation before autonomous play,and grasp the degree of "more or less" placement of play materials;Teachers should step back and observe the development of children’s persistence and concentration in the play,and grasp the degree of "advance and retreat" when the play intervenes;Teachers organize activities after the play to develop children’s flexibility and self-regulation ability,and grasp the degree of transition between "loose and tight" activities after the play. |
