Seizing the opportunity of the new historical period to vigorously promote the revival of traditional Chinese culture,General Secretary Xi Jinping has introduced a series of landmark policies that emphasise the great significance of preserving and promoting the fine traditional culture of the Chinese nation.With his unique thoughts,ideas and actions,General Secretary Xi Jinping has profoundly interpreted and comprehensively summarised traditional Chinese culture and constructed a complete set of Xi Jinping’s traditional cultural view,which provides strong guidance for the Communist Party of China(CPC)to continue to promote the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation in the development of the new era and highlights the governing ability of the CPC,which is of great theoretical and practical significance.Xi Jinping’s traditional cultural view not only provides the correct directional guidance for the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,but also has an important guiding role for contemporary university students to understand,promote and innovate Chinese traditional culture in order to practise core socialist values.This paper firstly composes and summarizes the background,content and value of Xi Jinping’s traditional cultural outlook.Secondly,the feasibility of integrating Xi Jinping’s traditional cultural outlook into the ideological and political education of college students is demonstrated by combining the consistency of the three aspects of ideological and political education and Xi Jinping’s traditional cultural outlook.Thirdly,the requirements and principles of integrating Xi Jinping traditional cultural outlook into ideological and political education of college students are discussed from the practical aspect.Finally,the path of integrating Xi Jinping traditional cultural outlook into ideological and political education in colleges and universities is proposed,and the path of integrating Xi Jinping traditional cultural outlook into ideological and political education is indicated from four aspects,namely,teaching materials,teachers,network and environment,so as to further promote the integration of Xi Jinping traditional cultural outlook and ideological and political education.This will further promote the integration of Xi Jinping’s traditional cultural concept and ideological and political education,and effectively improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education.
