With the promulgation and implementation of the new curriculum standards,the implementation of mathematics core literacy has become the focus of attention of the education sector,and unit teaching is an effective way to implement core literacy,how to design core competency-oriented learning goals,how to evaluate the achievement of students’ literacy goals,how to design teaching activities to cultivate students’ core literacy,are all considered when designing unit teaching design.The UbD model puts the design of teaching evaluation before teaching activities,follows the concept of integration of teaching,learning and evaluation,and provides a new path for teaching design.Therefore,this study uses"trigonometric function" as the carrier to carry out the research on unit teaching design in UbD mode,and discusses the application of unit teaching design in UbD mode in high school mathematics teaching.Firstly,through literature research method,the current status of teaching and research of UbD,unit teaching design and trigonometric functions is sorted out and analyzed.Next,the questionnaire method and interview method are used to understand the current situation of unit teaching design of front-line teachers,and the survey results show that the current unit teaching is less used in actual teaching,and teachers have problems such as insufficient theoretical reserves related to unit teaching and high pressure of teaching tasks.Then,based on the UbD teaching design template,the design ideas of teaching design are discussed,the teaching design ideas of units in UbD mode are determined,and the teaching design cases of trigonometric function units "The Concept of Trigonometric Functions" and"Images of Sine and Cosine Functions" are written.Finally,according to the completed teaching design cases,the practical teaching results prove that the unit teaching design under the UbD mode can effectively promote students’ understanding of knowledge,transfer and application of knowledge,and is conducive to improving students’ self-evaluation and reflection ability.
