As a hot spot in educational research,deep learning is an important channel for core literacy,and researchers have made unremitting explorations on its methods,strategies and teaching modes.In the literacy of "evidential reasoning and model cognition",the highest level of "model cognition" is model construction,so model construction is used as a method strategy of deep learning to test whether it promotes the development of students’ chemical cognition.In order to study the impact of deep learning using model construction as a method strategy on students’ chemical cognition,the following research process was undertaken:(1)Conduct research status analysis,find out the shortcomings of existing research,formulate research objectives,significance,methods and content,and determine technical routes.(2)Summarize and organize the literature,and define the model and its classification,the connotation of cognitive model,the connotation of model construction,deep learning and its characteristics and mechanism.(3)Investigate the current situation of deep learning classroom and students’ chemical cognition level,understand the current situation of model construction teaching,and investigate the chemical knowledge representation ability and model cognition level of high school students.(4)Based on the previous three studies,the theoretical construction of model construction was carried out.(5)Based on theoretical achievements and research findings,carry out the test of teaching practice and practical effect,draw research conclusions,and put forward teaching suggestions.After research,the following research results were obtained:(1)Based on literature research,the relevant concepts were determined,and the principles,methods,procedures and model construction measurements of four major categories of knowledge of chemistry were extracted,and a rich theoretical basis was obtained.(2)The "Deep Learning Classroom Observation Scale" was developed to investigate classroom teaching and students’ cognitive level.(3)The "Student Chemical Cognitive Level Measurement Scale" was compiled to test the effect of teaching practice.This study extracts the principles,methods,procedures of model construction,as well as the model construction strategies of the four major categories of knowledge of chemistry,and provides a reference for teaching theories for front-line educators.The experimental conclusion that model construction has a promoting effect on the development of students’ chemical cognition level was concluded,which provided support for further research.
