The ability to pretend play is one of the important indicators of early diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder(ASD).Its main characteristics are: pretend play in children with ASD is not flexible,creative and simple.They fail to understand the meaning of "pretend" and rarely appear spontaneous pretend-like games.Social communication and pretend games are the key and difficult points in the teaching of children with ASD.However,most of the studies on pretend games in China focus on typical developing children and focus on theoretical research.There are few teaching studies on integrating social communication and pretend games.Although empirical studies have found that the video demonstration method has the advantages of making it easier for ASD children to receive intervention,improving the interest and level of ASD children in pretend games,and reducing the teaching difficulty of pretend games,the teaching intervention system of video demonstration method in children with ASD pretend games is not complete.This study mainly selected teachers and ASD children who are engaged in ASD related work as the research subjects.Study 1: The survey method was used to investigate the teachers engaged in teaching children with ASD to explore the teaching status and difficulties of pretend games in children with ASD.Descriptive statistics and differential analysis of 100 valid questionnaires collected using SPSS 22.0.The results show that ASD children;the teaching difficulties of children with ASD are not interested in the game theme and prone to emotional problems.Study 2: Using the cross-subject multi-detection design in the single subject study method,the two-theme pretend games of three ASD children were trained by video demonstration method to explore the effect of the teaching intervention on the ability of three ASD children and the effect on the social development of children with ASD before and after the intervention.Visual analysis and C-statistics were used to analyze the accuracy data of target behavior in two themed pretend games collected from three ASD children.The results showed that the video demonstration of three ASD children in the course of the intervention that during the teaching intervention,and three ASD children showed more active social communication behaviors.Therefore,the video demonstration method has a good immediate intervention effect in the teaching intervention of children with ASD.Pretending games can partly promote social development in children with ASD. |
