Abstract/Summary:
Early childhood integrated education is an important form of early childhood education with special needs.Integration includes three levels: physical environment,social interaction and the integration of curriculum and teaching.The integration of curriculum and teaching is the most crucial link in achieving high-quality development of integrated early childhood education.The focus of integrated curriculum is on "what to teach",and teaching is essentially a means of curriculum implementation,with a focus on solving the problem of "how to teach".The inadaptability of teaching is still a difficult problem that restricts the quality of integrated education.How can teachers provide suitable teaching for children with special needs according to their characteristics,and how to adapt to the development of children with special needs only by making appropriate adjustments according to the current teaching,is an urgent problem to be solved.Embedded teaching utilizes activities that occur in natural contexts as teaching entry points,embedding children’s development goals into various aspects of daily life,without being limited by time and space,with flexibility and acceptability.Based on this,this study attempts to apply embedded teaching as a teaching method to integrated teaching adjustment,in order to improve the current teaching that is not suitable for children with special needs,enhance the effectiveness of teaching,enhance children’s target skills,and enhance their participation in activities.This research takes action research as the basic paradigm,and three mentally disabled children and their teachers in a fusion kindergarten as the research objects.Through two rounds of action research,it explores the implementation path and feasibility of embedded teaching applied to integration teaching adjustment.Being good at listening and expressing oneself,and getting along well with peers "is a key requirement for the development of large class children in the semester.In addition,children with intellectual disabilities have varying degrees of problems such as unclear speech,difficulty speaking,and insufficient social skills,which limit their language and social communication abilities.This study analyzes the changes in language and social fields of young children before and after the application of embedded teaching in integrated teaching adjustments,and analyzes the changes in teachers’ attitudes towards teaching adjustments and their own teaching abilities before and after teaching adjustments.The first stage is a preliminary investigation stage,which uses observation and interview methods to understand the current situation of teaching adjustment within the class.The ability level of three young children is evaluated using scales and observations,and it is found that the children have significant deficiencies in language and social skills.In the second stage,after developing an ISP and teaching adjustment plan based on the above issues,the first round of actions will be carried out,mainly exploring the basic path of applying embedded teaching to teaching adjustment and effective strategies for implementing teaching adjustment.The second round of action mainly reflects on improving the shortcomings in the first round of action,making teaching adjustments more reasonable and efficient.The results show that:(1)After the application of embedded teaching in teaching adjustment,children’s ability in language and social fields will be improved.(2)When embedded teaching is applied to teaching adjustment,teachers pay more attention to the individualized needs of children;When implementing the teaching adjustment,teachers adopted the consequence feedback strategy,prompt system,and gradually reduced prompts,and preferred to use the CTD strategy.We should adhere to the guidance of the embedded teaching concept based on the entire process adjustment,and improve the implementation path of embedded teaching in integrated education and teaching;Strengthen the training of teachers’ embedded teaching abilities to enhance their competence in integrated education;Kindergartens should establish a more scientific early childhood assessment system,guided by teamwork,to jointly develop an embedded teaching adjustment plan centered on the needs of young children.
