| The "Geography Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools"(2017 edition,2020revision)points out that the overall goal of geography curriculum is to cultivate students’ core literacy in geography,and deep learning is an important path to achieve the cultivation of students’ core literacy,and is one of the relevant research hotspots in implementing the cultivation of students’ core literacy in recent ten years.Promoting students’ deep learning is conducive to achieving the overall goal of geography curriculum.At present,students’ deep learning of geography is not good,so it is of great practical significance to explore how to promote students’ deep learning.Previous studies have proved that large-unit teaching is an important practical channel to promote deep learning.Compared with traditional teaching design,the academic degree plan can better reflect the principal status of students,provide students with professional deep learning opportunities,and emphasize students’ "learning" and "real learning" in the classroom.It is a professional plan that can promote students’ deep learning.Therefore,the combination of large unit teaching and degree program is an important starting point to promote students’ deep learning.For the purpose of promoting deep learning for students,this paper proposes the design and application path and principle of geography large unit education plan,hoping to provide some new ideas for frontline teachers and researchers who study the effective design and use of geography large unit education plan.Based on the literature research method,this paper summarizes the meaning of deep learning and large unit teaching in geography,clarifies the connection between deep learning and large unit teaching,diploma program,and large unit diploma program,clarifies the role of large unit diploma program in promoting deep learning,and theoretically clarifies the research significance of this paper.In this paper,deep learning is divided into 8 specific dimensions,and students’ questionnaires are designed according to the dimensions.SPSS software is used to test the reliability and validity of the questionnaires,and the test results are good.A teacher questionnaire was designed to understand the deep learning situation of high school geography teachers in guiding students,and to understand the teachers’ understanding degree and attitude towards making the geography large unit education plan.For teachers who do not know the large unit education plan,the teachers’ understanding degree and attitude towards the teaching of large unit education plan were investigated.Combining the characteristics of deep learning and the characteristics of geography large unit education plan,the design and use framework,principle and path of geography large unit education plan oriented to deep learning are constructed.Taking "the atmosphere on the Earth" as an example,the paper designed and used the geography large-unit education case course.Based on the interview method and mathematical analysis,the paper designed and used the deep learning self-evaluation table of students in class,post-experiment test analysis,and teacher-student interview to analyze the implementation effect of the lesson.The reliability and validity of the experimental data were mainly tested by SPSS software,and the data were analyzed by EXCEL software.The results are as follows:(1)The questionnaire results of students show that the current deep learning situation of students is not good,which is mainly manifested as low initiative and lack of interest in geography learning,general understanding and construction process of geography knowledge,and general critical thinking and reflective thinking.(2)The questionnaire results of teachers show that only a small number of teachers have understood and used the geography large unit education plan.The teachers who have understood and used the Geography large unit education plan believe that the Geography large unit education plan can effectively promote students’ deep learning and improve teaching effect and efficiency,and most teachers like to use the Geography large unit education plan.However,it is considered that the design of the geography large unit education program is difficult,there are few cases to refer to,and it is difficult to grasp the difficulties due to lack of experience.Among the teachers who do not know the geography large unit education plan,most of them understand the large unit teaching and the education plan,and most of them think that both can promote students’ deep learning.However,teachers are accustomed to traditional teaching design,or are unwilling to go out of the comfort zone,and there is still a long way to go to promote geography large unit degree programs.(3)The statistical results of students’ deep learning Self-rating scale show that the geography large unit education plan can arouse students’ interest in geography learning,trigger students’ active learning,help students understand and construct geographical knowledge,help students to migrate and apply geographical knowledge to solve geographical problems,and promote students’ deep learning.(4)The comparison between students’ post-test scores and pre-test scores shows that the use of geography large-unit academic plans can improve students’ academic scores and improve teaching benefits.(5)The results of interviews with teachers and students show that the use of geography large unit education plans can improve the phenomenon of students’ poor deep learning and improve the teaching effect. |
