Under the upsurge of future-oriented art education actively carried out by the country,a new idea of how to teach students unknown and learn for the future is discussed in the art course of junior high school.The scale,speed and transient urban life style of modern and contemporary urbanization are exerting negative influence on the sustainable development of resources.In September 2020,China set the target of achieving carbon peak by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060.At the National Two Sessions in March 2022,Wang Meihua,a member of the CPPCC National Committee,proposed that primary and middle school students are the backbone of the country’s future development,and the formation of the "double carbon" concept of primary and middle school students is crucial to the realization of the "double carbon" goal.It suggests adding "double carbon" related knowledge into primary and secondary education practice,promoting "double carbon" popular science into the campus through small hands and big hands,so that the idea of protecting human living environment goes deep into the hearts of students.Therefore,as a future middle school art teacher,the author intends to integrate the concept of "double carbon" into the teaching practice of middle school art,build a "green and low-carbon" campus culture that everyone pays attention to,everyone participates in and everyone shares,and advocate students to act together to build a "waste-free campus".On this basis,this paper develops a unit learning plan called "Waste-free Campus",which guides students to observe life,learn cases related to sustainable design against the background of the concept of "double carbon",learn to use creative means to design and produce natural and recycled materials into common products in life situations,and train students to develop good "green and low-carbon" living habits.Through their own ability to reduce the waste of living resources,reduce their own negative impact on the environment.Under the guidance of task-driven teaching method,students will learn around tasks in the context of experiencing practical situations and perceiving problems,test and summarize the learning process based on the results of tasks,master the ability of efficiently using natural materials and recycling materials in daily life,and improve their awareness of conserving things.And began to learn to assume more social responsibilities and advocate sustainable life,to help the realization of the national "double carbon" strategic goals.This study is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction,which mainly describes the background,purpose and significance of this research,combs and summarizes domestic and foreign literature on "double carbon","carbon neutral" and related to education and teaching,expounds the research methods and contents of this paper,and puts forward innovative points.The second to fourth parts are the main body.The first chapter mainly defines the concepts of "double carbon","waste free campus" and "sustainable design",and interprets and analyzes the teaching of large units of fine arts and the learning theory of constructivism according to the new curriculum standard.The second chapter uses the questionnaire survey method to conduct a questionnaire survey on the students in 5 classes of Grade 8 in the fourth section of the Future School in Ninghai County,Zhejiang Province,and interviews with three art teachers of the school.To understand the application status of "double carbon" concept in the future school art teaching of Ninghai County,analyze the feasibility of "double carbon" concept applied in the future school art teaching of Ninghai County,and explain its necessity.On this basis,the eighth grade art textbook of Zhejiang-American edition is taken as an example to analyze the teaching design that can incorporate the concept of "double carbon" and train students to develop good "green and low carbon" living habits,and the corresponding teaching plan suggestions are put forward according to the course learning content.The third chapter is based on the Zhejiang-American version of the eighth grade textbook volume of the ninth lesson "Make Good use of materials around",the author carried out the unit teaching design of "waste free Campus",according to the content of the new curriculum standard proposes the corresponding teaching strategies and teaching methods,discusses the teaching process cases and display some students’ excellent works,teaching reflection.The fifth part is the conclusion,thinking and summarizing the problems to be further discussed in this paper.
