| The city is the space carrier of human existence,carrying the collective memory of stakeholders.How people perceive a city is directly related to the external and internal evaluation of the city.Therefore,in the context of increasingly fierce competition,each city is actively seeking to build a unique urban image on the basis of its own historical and cultural heritage;In addition,as a window for object display and opening,how to shape a good city identity and effectively disseminate it have become the focus of the urban construction process.This paper proposes to take Chengdu as an example to explore how urban residents understand Chengdu through metaphorical extraction technology,and which urban elements are of great significance to individual cognition,and combine the concepts of urban aesthetics and spatial sense to put forward their own views and suggestions on Chengdu’s urban communication and image construction.The reason why Chengdu was chosen is because Chengdu is an important core of commerce,finance,science and technology,transportation and so on in the southwest region,and has a rich urban image;these resources are the advantages of Chengdu’s image shaping and the basis for the research. |
