City image is the embodiment of a city’s comprehensive strength,which reflects the city’s on-the-spot style,economic strength and cultural heritage.With the integrity of digital technology and the advent of the era of integrated media,a new carrier of city image communication has been created.How to construct city image communication strategy in the perspective of integrated media has become an important issue in the exploration of city development.Chengdu has been known as the "land of abundance" since ancient times.In recent years,it has also achieved outstanding results in city construction.It ranks among the best in domestic city image construction and foreign urban image communication.Also,Chengdu gradually explores the way of multiple convergence for city image communication.Based on the theory of media integration communication and city image communication,this paper selects Chengdu,a representative city in city image communication,as the research object,examines the city image communication from the perspective of,combines the two theoretical dimensions.This paper combs the current urban communication status of Chengdu from the perspective of media integration,investigates the communication effect of its city image of Chengdu,summarizes its existing problems and deficiencies,makes strategic innovation thinking from the aspects of integration concept,system integration,content integration,channel integration and form integration.This paper also puts forward specific and feasible communication strategy optimization suggestions,in order to help the development of Chengdu city image communication.At the same time,we hope to provide some references for the development and application of city image media integration communication.
