In the current table tennis teaching courses in most colleges and universities, there are relatively few training contents involving receiving and serving skills. The main reason for this phenomenon is that the return and serve technique includes the elements of rotation, and the understanding and mastery of rotation are relatively difficult for students in the enlightenment stage. In addition, the current conventional serving-receiving teaching method requires long-term training to accumulate experience to help athletes make good judgments on serving-receiving,which leads to students in the enlightenment stage who cannot obtain particularly good serving-receiving training in the limited practice time.Effect.This paper studies the use of marked 44 mm table tennis balls for serving-receiving teaching.By using this ball, students can intuitively see the rotation of the ball in the process of receiving and serving to understand the law and principle of rotation,so as to improve the receiving and serving.accuracy of rotation judgment. It is hoped that through this new auxiliary training method, students can basically master table tennis receiving and serving skills in a shorter time. This paper mainly uses the literature method, questionnaire survey method, teaching experiment method and mathematical statistics method to conduct an experimental study on the effect of using marked 44 mm table tennis training to promote the judgment of return and serve rotation. The research object of this paper is40 students of general education class in colleges and universities, divided into experimental group and control group of 20 students each. The experimental group used marked 44 mm table tennis balls for serving-receiving training, while the control group used D40+ table-tennis balls for serving-receiving training. The whole experimental process is 14 weeks, the first week is the distribution of the questionnaire;the second week is the pre-experiment test(the first test);the third to the fifth week is the first cycle of serving-receiving practice;the sixth week is the in-experiment test(The 2nd test);Weeks 7-9 are the second cycle of serving-receiving practice;Week 10 is the experimental test(the 3rd test);Weeks 11-13 are the third-cycle serving-receiving practice; The 14 th week is the post-test(the 4th test)and the distribution of the questionnaire.A mixed-design repeated-measures analysis of variance was performed on all serve-return test data in the experimental group and the control group, and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)After the experiment, the experimental group was significantly better than the control group in terms of the accuracy of the judgment of the rotation of the receiving service. The experimental group had a greater improvement in the accuracy of the judgment of the rotation after each training cycle, while the control group only had a significant improvement in the training of the first cycle, and no significant improvement in the practice of the second and third cycles.(2)After each cycle of training, there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the hit rate of receiving and serving, and the hit rate of receiving and serving both with marked 44 mm table tennis and D40+table tennis balls increased.(3)The students in the experimental group were significantly better than those in the control group in terms of theoretical cognition of serving technique and spin judgment(4)70% of students in the experimental group believed that understanding rotation could promote their love for table tennis, and generally indicated that they would continue to participate in table tennis after the course.
