Under the background of national policies to promote students' participation in sports,table tennis general courses have been widely implemented in college sports,but there is no more reasonable standard to reflect the teaching effect of table tennis skills.In the past table tennis classroom teaching,teachers and students emphasized too much on the technical movement itself while teaching or learning a movement.That is,they paid too much attention to the period before the ball over the net,but ignore the accuracy of the drop point of the ball after it over the net.This study selected suitable teaching requirements of table tennis optional course of ordinary college students in level 3 of Table Tennis Skill Level for Teenagers to assist the teaching methods,hoping that this practice method can improve the beginners' abilities to control the drop point of table tennis and indirectly promote the beginners' mastery of table tennis skills.According to the teaching syllabus of table tennis optional course in public physical education of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics,this paper studies the skill learning of table tennis optional course through five research methods: literature questionnaire,expert interview,mathematical statistics and teaching experiment.Students of table tennis optional course of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics(80 female students)were divided into experimental group and control group,in which the experimental group and the control group were both freshmen and sophomores.The 10-week teaching experiment was carried out in the classroom with the intervention of youth Table Tennis Skill Level for Teenagers and in the regular classroom without any intervention.The study and statistical analysis were conducted in terms of the subjects' skill learning(mainly referring to the ability to control the drop point of the ball)and the table tennis skills,five elements of table tennis,table tennis classroom atmosphere,table tennis interest and table tennis skill level standards involved in the questionnaire.The following conclusions are drawn through the comparison of experimental studies:(1)the “level 3"test of Table Tennis Skill Level for Teenagers has a positive effect on the skill learning of ordinary college students in table tennis optional class.The ability to control the drop point of backhand push(pull)technique and forehand attack technique has a significant change,and the ability to control the drop point of students in the experimental group is significantly stronger than that in the control group.(2)through teaching experiments,in the introductory stage of table tennis,backhand is easier to master than forehand.(3)students in the experimental group scored higher in the final standard test than those in the control group.(4)after the experiment,the experimental subjects had different effects on the cognition of the five elements of table tennis,which were shown as follows: the cognition and control of falling points arcs and speed,of the experimental group were significantly better than that of the control group,with no significant effect on power and rotation.The cognition level of the two groups was similar.(5)the entry of Table Tennis Skill Level for Teenagers into table tennis classes in colleges and universities is conducive to optimizing the feedback effect improving students' interest in table tennis and classroom efficiency,and establishing a table tennis skill level standard in line with college students will promote their enthusiasm to participate in table tennis.
