Ideological and political courses in colleges and universities are the main field of ideological and political education for young students and the key course to realize the fundamental task of moral education.On March 18,2019,General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed the "eight unification" of ideological and political theory courses at a forum of teachers of ideological and political theory courses.Among them,unity and diversity are unified,which aims to emphasize that ideological and political courses should implement the unified requirements of teaching objectives,curriculum settings,textbook use,teaching management,teaching staff,etc.In the specific implementation process,they should adapt to local conditions,time conditions,and teach students according to their aptitude.However,in the teaching of Ideological and political education.there is an imbalance between the two,which seriously effects the effectiveness of Ideological and political education.This paper will break through the previous scholars only discuss the unity and diversity of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,and study the imbalance of unity and diversity of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities from the perspective of educational philosophy epistemology.Epistemology is an important part of educational philosophy and a theoretical system specialized in the study of knowledge,which mainly includes what knowledge is,the origin of knowledge,the scope of knowledge and the way of knowledge Based on the epistemology,this paper studies the unity and diversity of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities first expounds the epistemological implication of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,then analyzes the inherent manifestations of unity and diversity,analyes the main problems,and puts forward the path of unity and diversity under the perspective of epistemology.In this paper,literature analysis,questionnaire survey method and other research methods are used to analyze the imbalance in the process of unity and diversity of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,and puts forward the optimization path of unity and diversity based on in-depth analysis of the problem.This article altogether has six parts,besides the first part of introduction,has carried on the research to the following five parts.Firstly,it expounds related concepts and theoretical basis,analyzes the concept of educational philosophy epistemology by citing the definitions of many scholars,and clarifies the concept of unity and diversity of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.After a detailed definition of the concept,the theoretical basis of the research is clarified,That is,Xi Jinping’s discussion about ideological and political courses and the discussion about epistemology in educational philosophy.Secondly,it analyzes the necessity of taking epistemology as the breakthrough point,and discusses the epistemology of educational philosophy and the knowledge of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities respectively.In terms of epistemology of educational philosophy,this paper discusses the basic overview of epistemology,the development stages of Chinese and western epistemology,the schools of epistemology and the classification of knowledge.In terms of the knowledge of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,on the premise of the overview of the theory of knowledge in the previous section,the composition and classification of the knowledge system of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities as well as the knowledge of ideological and political courses are described.Thirdly,it analyzes the connotation and the performance of the unity and diversity of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.The unity of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities is the unity of teaching objectives,curriculum setting,textbook use,teaching management and teaching staff.The diversity of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities is the diversity of teaching contents,educational resources,teaching means and teaching methods.On this basis,the importance of the two and the unity of the two are discussed respectively.Fourthly,through the analysis and collection of questionnaires,it is confirmed that the imbalance exists in the process of unity and diversity of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,which is manifested as emphasizing unity and ignoring diversity,that is,it is inevitable to dogmatism,falling into seclusionism and tendency to modelism.Emphasis on diversity,contempt of unity,that is,weak political orientation,marginalization of emphasis and formalization of classroom,and these problems are deeply analyzed.Fifthly,in view of the imbalance of the above analysis,it is proposed that under the guidance of epistemology,the unity command to diversity.Under the guidance of epistemology,diversity should serve unity.And The unity of unity and diversity should be promoted in epistemology.
