| Shipping is the main carrier of global trade,and seafarers play a decisive role in the world economy.It not only promotes global trade,but also creates global value and spreads global civilization.The narrow and enclosed space of the ship,the monotonous life of the seafarer,and the high risk of the occupation itself all tend to lead to the seafarer’s inattention,emotional instability,anxiety and psychological imbalance.During the COVID-19 pandemic,seafarers’ extended service and restrictions on berthing movement have further exacerbated the feelings of seafarers.Recent reports of seafarers committing suicide have highlighted the mental health of seafarers on board ships and further increased their vulnerability during the pandemic.The mental health of seafarers has an important influence on maritime safety and plays an important role in the harmonious and stable development of society.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to improve the emotional management ability of seafarers.The main purpose of this study is through understanding the current seafarers management present situation,the emotional problems,presents a clear seafarers and dig out the deep-seated reasons for these problems they,then by formulating individualized solutions are involved in the emotional problems of seafarers appear,with a rational emotion to correct their bad cognitive,help them learn and master the necessary emotional counseling skills,Finally,it can effectively improve the emotional management ability of seafarers.In finishing on the basis of the relevant information both at home and abroad,this paper combined with the previous research results,attempt to emotional management can be divided into emotional identification,three aspects of emotional expression and regulation,at the same time,using literature research,questionnaire investigation and interview method for data and information collection,in this paper,the questionnaire of 72 seafarers,combined with in-depth interviews,Three representative seafarers with emotional management problems were selected,and the professional methods such as rational emotional therapy and empowerment theory were used for case work intervention.The intervention process achieved obvious results,which provided some references for the relevant research of social work.Finally,this study is reviewed and summarized,and suggestions and effective methods are proposed from the perspectives of seafarers themselves,seafarers’ service organizations and seafarers’ working environment,so as to improve seafarers’ emotional management ability. |
