| Conic curve plays an important role in high school mathematics and college entrance examination.The learning of conic curve can train students’ thinking and improve their ability.Both teachers and students attach great importance to the learning of conic curve.However,there are many perplexities in students’ learning and poor teaching effect.Therefore,in view of the current situation of conic teaching and learning,it is very necessary to carry out research on students’ learning confusion and specific solutions.By means of questionnaire survey,test paper evaluation,teacher interview and literature analysis,this paper takes the teachers and students in Grade two of a key middle school in Hohhot,Inner Mongolia as the research object,and investigates the generation and causes of conic curve learning confusion in high school students.The following questions are mainly studied and solved :(1)what types of puzzles do students have when they first learn about conic curves?(2)What is the main cause of the confusion?(3)How to solve as much as possible to avoid these puzzles when students first learn conic curve?After statistical analysis of the survey results of questionnaire and test paper,it is found that students’ confusion in conic learning mainly comes down to four types:knowledge understanding,mathematical language conversion,problem solving method selection,and psychological emotion.The causes are as follows: the basic knowledge is not clear,the basic skill training is short,the mathematical thought is not deep understanding,the psychological bearing ability is weak;At the level of teachers,the teaching concept is old,the classroom teaching means are single and formal,and the understanding of students is one-sided.At the same time,it is also related to the characteristics of conic curve knowledge and the mismatch of data and other reasons.Based on the analysis of the types and causes of learning confusion,combined with the content of interviews with teachers and literature review,this paper proposes five teaching strategies to solve students’ learning confusion: based on the core literacy,consolidating the basic knowledge;Pay attention to the integration of mathematical language into classroom teaching;Clear solution ideas,infiltration method skills;Cultivate application consciousness and enhance application ability;Keep encouraging and be tolerant to students.It aims to cultivate students’ good mathematical ability,habit and quality,effectively guide teaching practice and improve teaching quality. |
