On September 2,2019,the "Outline of Sports Power Construction" issued by the General Office of the State Council proposed that it should promote the popularization of basketball,dig out the culture of basketball projects,explore the path of basketball with my country’s characteristics,and promote the public to participate in basketball.The extensive spread of basketball culture is of great significance to promote the promotion and popularization of basketball in my country,promote the cultural construction of my country’s basketball project,enrich the connotation of the spirit of sports in my country,and help the implementation of the national fitness plan for our country.With the innovation of media technology and the popularization of mobile smartphones,basketball culture communication methods have become more diversified.In the current media era of "Everyone’s Media",basketball short videos stand out in many communication media.The "Courtman" has achieved rapid and stable development with its unique communication style and continuous transportation of high-quality content.Its successful operation of the development of basketball short videos has an important inspiration for the spread of basketball culture in my country.This article uses the basketball short video Douyin blogger "Courtman" as the research object to study the characteristics and communication effects of basketball culture.This article is based on the theory of Laswell 5W communication,and the audience and short video content of the Douyin "Courtman" are the subjects.The research method investigates and analyzes the characteristics and communication effects of the "Courtman".Studies found that: 1.The grassroots image of the main body of the main body is clear,and the professional operation continues to output high-quality content;the content of the content is high,the video themes are diverse,and the audiovisual elements are used reasonably;Students are the main loyalty.2.The communication effect performs well in three levels of cognition,emotion,and behavior;the audience has the best effect on male students under the age of 18,high school,and below.Features have a significant positive effect on the effects of different levels.Based on the results of the above research,this article puts forward the following suggestions for the spread of basketball culture based on the media: 1.Strengthen the construction of the main body and shape a distinctive image;establish long-term planning and form a team of professional operations.2.Attach importance to the construction of content,give full play to the spirit of innovation,and form a unique content style;strengthen the form of content and improve the level of video production.3.Do a good job in the construction of the communication path,improve the self-media matrix,increase interaction with KOL in different fields,and strengthen offline communication activities.4.Strengthen the construction of the audience and carry out scientific and effective management of the audience.
