In recent years,the development of China’s sports education and training industry has shown a good trend and become an important part of the output value of the sports industry,as more and more individuals and organizations have begun to focus on the youth sports education and training market and open various types of youth social sports clubs with business nature,while The mixed reputation of community youth sports clubs and the constant negative reports about them also indicate that the market demands a better quality of service from the physical education and training sector.Therefore,the core internal governance of each physical education and training enterprise is closely focused on the assessment and improvement of service quality.Enhancing the quality of service provided by youth social sports clubs and enforcing regulations and standards in the youth physical education and training industry are crucial for realizing the national youth development plan,promoting the integration of sports and education,enhancing the physical well-being of young people,and establishing a robust sports-oriented nation.Firstly,this study takes customer satisfaction theory and SERVQUAL model theory as the theoretical basis,extracts the service quality evaluation elements of youth social sports clubs from the previous policy documents about youth sports,the related research literature already existed by previous authors and the interview texts of relevant personnel,and constructs the service quality evaluation scale of youth social sports clubs.To guarantee the scale’s scientific design,a panel of 12 experts,scholars,and club managers were invited to assess and rate the scale.As a result,a service quality assessment index system for youth social sports clubs was established,comprising of five main dimensions: staff,venue facilities,curriculum activities,service care,and educational enhancement,and 25 sub-dimensions.Subsequently,this research distributed online questionnaires to youth groups and collected 370 valid responses.The collected data was analyzed using SPSS24.0 to assess the reliability and validity of the service quality evaluation index system for youth social sports clubs.The results indicated that the index system had good reliability and validity.A t-test was conducted on the samples,and the correlation between each evaluation index factor was verified through principal component analysis.The cumulative explanation rate of the variance of the extracted five common factors was 70.206%,indicating that these factors can explain most of the variance of the questions.This confirms that the five dimensions of the index system are appropriate.Finally,in order to make the service quality measurement results more scientific,this study uses the product scaling method to assign weights to the index system based on the questionnaire data.By bringing the relevant data into the service quality calculation formula,it was found that the service quality gap of 25 indicators in 5dimensions was negative,indicating that members were dissatisfied with the service quality of youth social sports clubs.Based on the PZB service quality gap model,this research analyzed and investigated the reasons for the service quality gap in youth social sports clubs.The study identified the causes of the gap in five dimensions,including managers’ perceptions,quality standards,service transactions,marketing communication,and perceived services.In response to these causes,the research proposed countermeasures to enhance the service quality of youth social sports clubs.
