With the development of educational informatization,digital technology enables education and promotes the integration and innovation of information technology and education and teaching.It is possible to use learning analysis to refine diagnostic situation and provide precise teaching.As an important branch of learning analysis,learner persona is devoted to describing the overall features of learners from static,dynamic and outcome dimensions,which can play an important role in learning assessment and teaching decision-making.With the promotion and development of smart classroom in the field of basic education,all regions are making efforts to build a smart learning environment,which provides conditions for online and offline data collection and learning analysis.How to use learning data to diagnose problems,so as to promote precision teaching and support smart learning has become a more noteworthy issue at present.Therefore,from the perspective of learner persona,this study makes full use of learning data,visualizes learner characteristics,and designs precision teaching intervention according to the diagnosed teaching problems,trying to provide basis for the path of precision teaching from the perspective of learner persona,which is of great practical significance in the current era of focusing on fine and personalized education.This research adopts a variety of methods,such as literature research,classroom observation,quasi-experimental research,questionnaire survey and case study.Firstly,by combing domestic and foreign literature on learner persona and precision teaching intervention,the research status at home and abroad is summarized,the conceptual connotation of learner persona,precision teaching,teaching intervention and precision teaching intervention is defined,and the theoretical basis of the research is determined.Secondly,by analyzing the characteristic elements of learners,referring to and comparing the extraction of persona dimensions and model characteristics in previous studies,the theoretical model of learner persona in the intelligent learning environment of this study is determined.Taking junior high school English as an example,46 students from a straight up class jointly established by a smart education school in J City,S Province as the research object.The English learning data of about two months in the second half of the second semester of eighth grade is collected.After data analysis,the overall persona,group persona and individual persona of learners are output in a visual way.Then,according to the principle of precision teaching intervention,the types and elements of intervention are analyzed,the 3P teaching model is referred to,the social cognitive theory is supported,the precision teaching intervention framework based on learner persona is constructed,and the precision teaching intervention strategy and intervention implementation process are designed for the whole,group and individual.Thirdly,the class with the data collected in the early stage is taken as the experimental class,and the constructed precision teaching intervention based on the learner persona is applied to the junior middle school English teaching in the later stage.Another class with similar level in the same grade of experimental school is selected as the control class,and the traditional teaching intervention is implemented according to the teacher’s experience,so the comparative experiment is carried out to verify the effectiveness of precision teaching intervention.Namely,whether the precision teaching intervention based on learner persona can significantly improve learners’ behavior performance,knowledge level and language ability.Finally,after the experiment,the effects of teaching intervention were evaluated quantitatively and qualitatively,and the behavioral data of various dimensions,academic performance and language ability scores of students in the experimental class and control class were statistically analyzed.At the same time,the teacher interview results and the learner satisfaction questionnaire were collected to understand the application value of the teacher and students on the learner persona and the evaluation of the implementation effect of precision teaching intervention,so as to provide suggestions and suggestions for improving the teaching intervention and promoting precision teaching.The final experimental results verified the effectiveness of the precision teaching intervention based on the learner persona.Finally,this study draws the following conclusions: Based on the existing data of the smart classroom system,learners can be painted from multiple angles;Multi-angle learner persona can provide a reliable basis for the formulation of precision teaching intervention strategies;The precision teaching intervention strategy based on learner persona can effectively improve students’ learning effect.Limited by various practical conditions,this study still has some shortcomings,which will be the direction of future research efforts.
