| With the development of the Internet and the awakening of female consciousness,women’s voice is heard by more and more people.The media’s attention to women’s rights has increased,and with it,the gender imbalance in reporting has become more prominent.With the development of feminism in China,some mass media have become the center of criticism by feminist critics due to their abnormal stereotypes in reporting gender issues.Based on Zang Guoren’s theory of "three-level framework",this paper analyzes the content and framework of 473 effective Weibo reports on gender issues in Beijing News(2009.9-2022.11),and investigates the media framework model and causes of gender issues reports in Beijing News.Finally,it concludes some gender reporting framework enlightenment.It is found that there are six commonly used gender reporting frameworks in the microblog of Beijing News,which are: the mobile power reporting framework behind technology support;Marginalized groups framework in media construction;The frame of a woman’s private life being stared at;Gender image presentation frame in stereotyped cognition;The "one-sided" frame of agenda setting that favors women and the positive tone frame of the statement of praise.Based on this,from the perspective of "media and social gender",this paper analyzes two reasons for the gender issue framework of Beijing News microblog.First,longterm gender desensitization of media caused by the social root behind patriarchy;Second,under the commercial logic of traffic first,the media blindly pursue the spectacle.Finally,through the analysis of the data,it concludes four enlightenments in the reporting framework of gender issues in the new media environment,which are:rejecting the stereotype of phenomenon reporting and trying to meet the public’s ardent expectations for gender equality;Take all things into consideration,the media on gender issues reported to "do something";Adhere to the basic national policy of gender equality and enhance the media practitioners’ awareness of gender reporting;Publicity,guidance and attention to break the trap of extreme women’s rights.With the continuous awakening of female consciousness and the empowerment of technology,the unbalanced gender "balance" constructed by the media is gradually being seen,and the construction and presentation of gender images in the media landscape has become crucial in the new media environment.However,when reporting gender issues,most of the frames used by the current media are presented in the form of traditional "gender inequality",and there is rarely a complete,systematic and adaptable framework for reporting gender issues in the new media environment.The figure of women constructed by the microblog of Beijing News is gradually increasing in its reports on gender issues.However,the picture of women constructed is still under the traditional patriarchal framework.Thus,it can be seen that how to objectively and rationally present gender equality in the real sense is still a long way to go. |
