Comparative Of High School Mathematics Textbooks Between PEP-A (2019) And BNUP (2019)

Textbook is the carrier of knowledge,the important bridge between teachers and students,and the direct embodiment of curriculum concept and curriculum reform.The continuous updating of teaching materials indicates the deepening of educational reform in our country.This paper studies the functions parts of PEP-A(2019 edition)and the BNUP(2019 edition),analyzes their respective characteristics,and puts forward my opinions on how to use the textbooks.This paper compares the two textbooks from the macro and micro levels.At the macro level,the textbook compares compilation structure,curriculum difficulty,mathematical literacy,exercises are compared.At the micro level,the textbook compares preface,introduction,thinking,inquiry,reading materials,tips and information technology.The similarities and differences of the two editions of the textbook in function are summarized.1.Similarities between the two editions of the textbook in functions.At the macro level:(1)The knowledge structure of the two editions of the textbook is complete.In the function part,the two editions of the textbook knowledge from concept to image,and then to the nature,layer by layer progressive.(2)The course difficulty of the two textbooks is similar.The difficulty of the course in this paper is compared according to the Shi Ningzhong’s curriculum difficulty model.The course of the two textbooks are similar difficulty,while the BNUP is slightly more difficult.(3)The presentation forms and difficulties of exercises in the two editions of the textbook are similar.The exercises of the two editions are mainly presented in the form of deformation,fill-in-the-blank,and most of them are presented in the form of shortanswer question.Exercise difficulty is compared according to Bao Jiansheng’s difficulty model.There is a small difference of 0.6 between the weighted average sum of the two editions,so the exercise difficulty is similar.At the micro level:(1)The two editions of the textbook have the same structure.Both editions have preamble,introduction,reflection,reading material,tips and information technology.(2)Instance import accounts for a large proportion in the import of the two editions.From special to general,the knowledge learning process is followed step by step.2.Differences between the two editions of the textbook in function.At the macro level:(1)In terms of knowledge structure,trig functions and trigonometric identity transformation are arranged in compulsory courses 1 and 2respectively in PEP-A,while trig functions and trigonometric identity transformation are arranged in BNUP,which is more conducive to enhancing knowledge relevance and integrity.(2)In terms of core literacy,the PEP-A pays more attention to the cultivation of mathematical modeling literacy.There are thematic mathematical activities of mathematical modeling,and there are overall processes and practices for establishing mathematical models to solve practical problems.The BNUP only reflects in the title to build models to solve practical problems.By comparing the consistency of the two editions of the textbook with the curriculum standards,the BNUP has a higher consistency with the curriculum standards.At the micro level:(1)In the preface,the preface of the PEP-A pays more attention to logic,while the preface of the BNUP pays more attention to humanistic care.(2)In terms of thinking and exploration,the BNUP pays more attention to the experience of knowledge learning and perception,while the PEP-A pays more attention to the introduction of classroom knowledge through exploration.(3)In terms of reading and writing,the requirements of small papers in the BNUP are clear,and students have a better sense of direction in operation.The paper writing of the PEP-A is the open requirement for the paper from the topic selection,and the corresponding requirement for the paper format,which lays the foundation for the writing of university papers and future scientific research papers.(4)At the tip,the PEP-A is more diverse and inclusive in form and content.(5)In terms of information technology,the BNUP has stronger operability.
