A Comparative Study Of The Effectiveness Of The Technical And Tactical Use Of Liberos In The 19th Women’s World Volleyball Championships

The Women’s World Volleyball Championship is one of the three major international volleyball tournaments and has a large influence in the world.The libero is the mainstay of the team’s defence.Quality defence promotes the effectiveness of the attack and provides an important role in the tactical use of the whole team as well as in achieving match victory.This paper uses research methods such as literature,video observation,mathematical statistics and comparative analysis to study the technical and tactical use of the libero between the Chinese team and their opponents in the 19 th Women’s Volleyball World Championships,and analyses the aspects of receiving serves,receiving kicks,receiving hangers,receiving block returns and receiving no-attack balls,and draws the following conclusions:1.In terms of receiving and serving,the Italian and Brazilian liberos are in excellent receiving condition and provide a good guarantee for the team to organize the attack,while Chinese liberos are in the middle to upper level,but it is difficult to overcome the vigorous jumping and heavy jumping ball,and the coordination of each link is not smooth.2.In terms of catching and dunking,Italy’s liberos are accurate and skillful in controlling the ball,while Chinese liberos are comparable to Brazil’s liberos in terms of starting effect,lack of experience in preventing heavy dunking,good at defending the number four position but vulnerable to defensive formations in other positions.3.In terms of receiving and blocking,the Dutch liberos have good foresight,the Italian liberos are quick to react and have flexible feet,the Chinese liberos are also at a high level and have a strong sense of follow-up.4.In terms of receiving the ball without attacking,the Argentinean and Italian liberos mastered the rhythm properly,while the Chinese liberos received the ball steadily,but with less tacit understanding with the attacking tactics.Brazil’s liberos have a strong sense of dispersion in adjusting the attack,while Chinese liberos adjust to the pad for stability,with a single idea.
